This restaurant could have been a five star restaurant in our book. However, it was too noisy to make it. The food was spectacular, the service was spectacular, the view is spectacular. Too bad we could not hear each other. As soon as you arrive a wonderful display of bruschetas, zucchini chips, parmesan cheese and reduced balsamic and very tasty... More

Went there on a Saturday night to celebrate a special occasion. My friend was able to get us a great table. The service is excellent. Very busy all night, a little loud but festive atmosphere. Food is wonderful and all fresh ingredients. Menu and specials are extensive. Food is expensive but worth it for a great evening.

Our son suggested we try Il Gabbiano while in Miami and I must say, it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. The service is above and beyond the best we have experienced. Attentive yet not obtrusive---every single attendant was courteous, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was excellent as well. Not that we... More

Great food and nice ambiance, however the drinks were highly overpriced, like $16 for a Belini! The service was fantastic and everything was prompt.

Good food, indeed, but not an amazing restaurant! Great service and an average environment. Still looking forward to having a great tiramisu for desert -- it was not this time.

The food is great, the service is outstanding, and the restaurant is right on the water. Go for the tuna tartar appetizer.

Overrated and overpriced says it all. We had great expectations and were greatly disappointed. Started with Parma prosciutto and melon. Ham was dry and piled high and random on the plate with a few small melon balls, berries and such. Not a very pretty presentation. Linguine alle Vongole was fair with very few clams in a tasteless sauce. For a... More

Place is hopping. Food was amazing as was the service. A bit on the expensive side. Look out for the dress code or they will not seat you.
