Best Sea Bass in Salt

Great Italian food, however really memorable is the salted sea bass, best when shared because of its size. Service is excellent, will definitely return on my next visit to Miami.

Bad service, a disinterested servers and manager plus several screwups caused an extra hour to get our food but they didn't care because of the line of people waiting to get in. Although their prime concern seamed to be turning the table by grabbing our unfinished plates off the table without asking, ignoring our requests for service and totally indifferent... More

From the moment you walk into this place, you no you're ini for a treat! The Harbor side view was great, and the meals matched. I had the Lobster Ravioli special which was one of the best I've had anywhere! The one negative is that the specials for the evenings meal where too many to follow even after our server... More

We ended up arriving in town 3 hr. late and it was 9:30 and we decided we wanted Italian. Googled and found this place and saw they were still serving. We got a table outside on a balmy night. Before ordering, a plate arrived and a wheel of Parmesan that they carved some chunks of, along with some Balsamic vinegar.... More

Il Gabbiano has great waterfront views of Biscayne Bay and parts of Miami. The service is totally excellent as is the food. Having said the food is excellent it is very expensive. Be careful when ordering the specials. Always ask how much they are or you may be surprised as we were. One person at our table ordered the lamb... More

The restaurant has a fenomenal view and a vibrant atmosphere. We were invited by friends and we were pleased to walk there from our hotel in the Brickell area. The lobster ravioli is very good. I'd definetely recommend it to anyone going to Miami.

Il Gabbiano is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Miami, outdoor seating overlooking Biscayne Bay on a perfect set the tone for a fine dining experience. They start out with gratis appetizers of a small chunk of parmigian cheese, bruchetta with fresh tomato and zucchini fritti. The pasta dishes are all homemade and cooked perfectly. An excellent Caesar salad to start... More

II Gabbiano's is a fantastic Italian restaurant just off Brickell right on the water. Fresh fish, fresh pasta, and the best service. Really enjoyed this restaurant and look forward to our return visits.

Went to this restaurant with a friend recently. We had a reservation, but it was very crowded and they weren't able to seat us right away. I figured that was a bad sign. To my surprise we only waited at the bar for about ten minutes and they brought us something to nibble on while we waited. We sat outside... More

We were staying at the Intercontinental Hotel which is adjacent to the restaurant when we were walking along the waterfront and hungry for a snack about 3:00 PM. It was too early for dinner but too late for lunch. All we wanted was a salad and some tea. We were immediately seated by dashing, classy servers wearing white. We were... More
