Bravo! BRAVO !!

Miami has an Italian food gem -- Il Gabbiano !! Delicious foods with real Italian taste (from Italy). For dinner, lot's a complimentary starters start arriving: bruschetta, parmesan cheese & balsamic, fried zuccini slices etc. Tasty starters include: spinach salad and pasta e fagioli soup. arrogant rip-off as to dinner fish dish special, All other fish dishes $25-35, When bill was presented, special came in at $75. Manager haughtily advised the waiters are directed not to discuss the price of specials unless asked, Clearly & deliberately taking advantage of customers. Manager refused to make any adjustment. .

Our experiences in Miami are generally great - we use a concierge many times as well as Open Table and Trip Advisor for good and new restaurants which are plentiful! Although we come from the New York area and Italian restaurants are first rate we wanted to try Il Gabbiano because of the ratings for food and because the concierge... More

Cannot miss this restaurant, was beyond amazing. We had a little flight back to Italy from the taste of the plates!

We were there in a big group - almost 50 people - service was a little bit confused with so many orders at on time, food went lukewarm but tasty

Food is excellent; good portions and great quality. Reservations are hard to get for prime time (8pm) so book a month in advance. Indoor is noisy, so for romance request outdoor patio.

That's what it felt like in this peripatetic restaurant. If you want to enjoy the experience be careful with what table you get. The traffic in and out of the kitchen is so voluminous that you could find yourself, like we did in the middle of a highway of servers going back and forth between the tables. They. Should not... Food was AMAZING! The service was excellent too! My wife and I sat outside and enjoyed every bite of every single thing we ordered. Now as awesome as it was there were negatives. Place gets really crowded when it comes to seating. I had a party of 8 glued to me from behind and those tight spaces make the restaurant... More

I would have given this restaurant a very good except for two things. The prices were very high and the noise level the same. We were with a party of 11 at a large round table and it was virtually impossible to speak to anyone except the person directly next to me. I asked if they could make an angel... More

My family of four arrived on a Monday night at 9pm....we were seated promptly and were surprised at how busy the place was. More of a corporate vibe than tourists. Regardless, the place is beautiful and it has high ceilings so the noise level never gets unbearable. You are swarmed as soon as you sit down with Bread, Bruschetta and... More
