I wait for 30min so I didn't think it was bad. Order the mojo pork. When It got to the table, I was surprised by all of the sides. I have high hopes it would be good. But it wasn't.. The pork was kind of dry, and the flavors was there. Maybe it is me.

Pretty bland, unimaginative food that doesn't resemble Mexican; just dumbed down Tex-Mex for Floridians (and a whole lot of yankee retirees) who don't really know better. I can't blame the owners, they're out to make a living. You have to sell bad food if that's what the locals want. Ps. Wife is Mexican and I lived for a number of... More

The chimi is so large I can make two meals out of it. It is always fried to the right crispness and the beef chimi is loaded with meat. My favorite Mexican restaurant .

On a busy Friday evening, we lucked up and got seated right away. I wish my sister-in-law, who lives in Florida and says there's no such thing as good Mexican food in Florida, was with us, as this restaurant might have changed her mind. The food was wonderful. The guacamole was fantastic. The chips had room for improvement and I... More

We don't eat here often but when we do the food is always delicious. However, that fine feast comes at a price. I think there are some ways to get around the downsides of going here. Primarily that is to go later in the evening. Absolutely try to avoid the opening rush and ensuing long wait times and rushed servers.... More

There are a lot of little hole in the wall taco and burrito places around here. El Tucan is a pretty good sit down restaurant. Although a bit small with limited parking, the service was excellent. The food quality was good. We had fajitas and both the steak and chicken were the most tender we have had in fajitas, however... More

Having visited three other Mexican restaurants we approached El Tucan with much anticipation. Our previous taste of Mexico in three other Mexican restaurants was not so great. Immediately we were were approached by Alan our waiter. He was well dressed and very polite. He took our order and gave us some chips and salsa. Our salsa was of the right... More

Very good authentic food. They might have the best spicy salsa that I've ever had. Service was fast and friendly.
