This antiquated, long past dead bar is no place to go for even an average meal let alone a good one. Plenty of hype in periodicals and its own promotional materials but frankly its a smelly old dump. Crappy bar food, horrific service and of array of stains, odors joined by old mismatched furniture. Its gross and that it should... More

We can only assume that previous glowing reviews were based upon good intentions or happy hour. This is a dingy, filthy roadside bar with a variety of odors and a menu that is fast food like. Dump Dump Dump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Food is gross. Pathetic Awful We were disgusted by the hype versus reality. Drive past!!!!

No pretension, just honest food cooked so beautifully. Enjoy the porch for an icy beer or wine and dinner

Very good New England style seafood. My wife had the full belly clam and scallop combo and she loved it! I had the 1 1/4 Maine lobster special and it was very good also. The prices are reasonable and service excellent. We will definitely return here on future trips to Melbourne.

Definitely a local spot which is always a good sign when you want to ensure a good meal! Fresh Grouper was great, Seared Sushi Grade Tuna appetizer, fresh big salad, and our server Julie (I think) all top notch. It's around 25 miles of beautiful deserted coastline north of Vero Beach but such a pretty drive!

New England Eatery;s speciality is seafood. They cook it fried, broiled or how you like it. They have huge Onion rings served with the dinners. My husband loves their French onion soup. They have an inside or outside eating. They have a happy hour that is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful when ordering. It is located in South... More

First off, I would like to say that I was born and raised in Massachusetts; so I'm really used to New England fried food. During a recent visit to the New England Eatery, I ordered fish and chips (fried Cod), French onion soup and onion rings. The French onion soup was great; however, the fried food was dripping in grease,... More

We live just a couple miles north of the New England Eatery and get there at least once every month or two. Very casual atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Many types of seafood and shellfish served broiled or fried. Try the Nantucket Style finish that is offered on some dishes. Very tasty. Service is usually pretty good, but can be "iffy"... More

My wife and I and another couple ate here on Father's Day. We came at the tail end of the evening and some of the favorite dishes were depleted. We enjoyed a good seafood assortment just the same. I had 2 for 1 margaritas which were ok. The cup of New England Clam Chowder was very good. My entrée was... More

I grew up in New England. Once we relocated to central Florida in 2005, we were on a search for a good seafood restaurant. What a little gem we found. Super casual restaurant with covered outside dining. Ceiling fans add a nice breeze. Of course, the star of the restaurant is the seafood. We especially enjoy the abundant lobster roll... More
