Nice Birthday Lunch

Enjoyed a very good lobster salad lunch for my birthday. Even better that it was happy hour. Out waitress Mel was wonderful. As a transplanted New Englander, were very disappointed though in the lack of Patriots memorabilia. Also, with Doug Flutie living only a few hundred yards down the road... read more

For years I've been wanting to go to this restaurant as they allegedly specialize in whole fried Ipswich clams. I made the mistake of taking my wife there on Memorial Day for lunch. To be fair the waitress informed me that the clams were running small to medium. However,I did not anticipate that they would be cooked so much that... More

Thank you for coming to my restaurant. I am very sorry that our food was not up to you and your wife's expectations. We pride ourselves on serving only the freshest New England style seafood possible. Unfortunately we can not control the size of the Ipswich clams; that is why we inform our customers of the sizes upon ordering. With... More

Food was good, not great. Waitress and hostess were very nice. The outdoor patio area was great, well shaded, and had ceiling fans. Our waitress checked on us repeatedly and even brought our little boy some orange juice towards the end of the meal! Crab Dip was best part of the food and the crab cakes were good as well.... More

We're New Englanders and were pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the food preparation. Lobster roll was the real thing. The best part was the fried whole belly clams, done just right. We ate in the bar which had lots of ceiling fans and was shaded by slatted wood walls, nice on a hot sunny day. You will enjoy the... More

My Mom is from the fishing port of Gloucester, Massachusetts, in other words, a real New Englander. Her brother lives in the area and recommended the New England Eatery & Pub so while we were visiting we had lunch there. It is a very plain place but clean and roomy. We were a group of four. We were promptly seated,... More

Over the years have had many good meals at New England Eatery. I don't enjoy going out to eat on the barrier island and not have a view, however. The New England Eatery is homey, but all closed in. I also do not much like the pub section. It seems like a dark barn. Anyway, we didn't go for the... More

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here and loved it! The food was delicious and plentiful and the service just right. We didn't need for anything, but no hovering. We ate out in the smoking section, but large fans kept it from being annoying. Would return in a heartbeat!

I can't believe the reviews , this place is terrible! When we first walked in we almost left because it stank so bad. The food was among the worst I've had in Brevard county. I would eat road kill before I would ever go back!

I just wanted to reach out to you and ask in your opinion what makes the New England Eatery so "disgusting?" We try to give each and every guest the best food and service as possible. What did you order that made you feel that road kill would be better tasting? As the general manager and daughter of the owners,... More

Great place for a New England transplant livings in Florida. Great New England style seafood and even makes you feel like you're up north. Friendly staff, decent food, nothing fancy just good New England seafood.

We've been here twice in the last month. The first time was for lunch and the second time was for dinner. Both times I had the fried scallops which were really good, but here's the rub. The lunch portion and the dinner portion were the same size, but the dinner was $5 higher, so maybe you want to go for... More
