We went to dinner here based on the positive reviews we read. The place is very inviting. It is on the small side with about 10 tables inside and about 7 more on the outside patio. The smallness of the place adds to the coziness of the place. Outside and inside you hear music. We both had the Cuban sandwiches... More

I've lived in the area for over 15 years now and never been to El Ambia. I heard about it there other day from a friend so I had to check it out. This little place is tucked in the corner down by the river on the outskirts of downtown Melbourne. But once you find it, you will remember how... More

I went here for a quick lunch. The restaurant was pleasant and clean. The service was very good. The waiter and hostess were very attentive and gave knowledgeable recommendations. I had snapper with yellow rice, black beans and fried green plantains. The fish was incredible and the black beans were delicious. The yellow rice needs some work. I would recommend... More

When we decided to come to the area to visit out son, I asked my wife to find a place for us to eat that had authentic Cuban food. This is the place she found after searching online. The recommendations were justified. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. We were greeted by a friendly waiter, seated quickly and given the... More

Best cuban food I've ever had. Last time I went I tried the Pollo Asado. I'm not usually a big fan of chicken, but this was hands down the best chicken I have ever had in my life. SO good. In the past I've tried the Ropa Vieja which is also delicious. I always leave this place full and happy.

Craved Cuban food. Wanted a new place. Great citrus mojito. Appetizers were big enough to share. Entrees were so good we didn't want to share. Dessert was so good we had to order one more to share. Happy family night out! We will be back.

We had to come here twice, not just review the dinner but the lunch as well. Both meals did not disappoint! A very casual atmosphere with magical aromas dancing in the air. Everything is homemade from scratch. I would highly recommend this restaurant its not pretentious, and full of flavor happy and helpful staff.

This place sucks. I hate to even review something in such a negative way, but wow. First off they served plantains that where clearly frozen from a box because the came out cold in the middle. So the waitress fixed that.... no big deal. Then the food comes out. My sandwich had what looked like two cheese sticks on it... More
