Best Cuban around Melbourne

We've tried Cubans all over the Melbourne area and this is definitely the favorite. It's a cute little place by the water and they have patio seating that's covered so it doesn't get too hot which is nice. The rice and beans are great, the bread is great, and all the specials are awesome. This is a... read more

My first attempt to eat at El Ambia Cubano - I arrived minutes too late for dinner after flying in from Washington, DC. A co-worker found this gem of a restaurant and ever since, we have tried to eat here on (at least once!) on every trip to the area. The ropa vieja is - delicious. The service is excellent.... More

The food is awesome, the location is friendly. The Wednesday chicken and rice is my fave. The mojo pork is pretty awesome too. And the coffee is... cuban. =) YUM

This is quaint restaurant by the water in Downtown Melbourne, FL. The place is tastefully decorated with Cuban memorabilia. The music is really Cuban, and they also play old Cuban films in a flat screen TV. The moment you step in, you can see how friendly and attentive the staff is. They have an outside section in the front porch... More

Amazing food! We had the Surf n Turf. The meat was tender and the fish was perfectly seasoned. The cilantro topped it off! The plate comes with salad, rice and plantains. We ordered a side of black beans! Ended the meal with a cortadito!

This is easily one of the best Cuban eateries in the country. I've eaten here quite a few times, and have always been impressed. The Hemingway's Rice (my favorite) is a simple, yet well thought out paella dish, with lobster shrimp and fresh fish. They also offer a fresh fish entree on the menu daily. Their slow roasted pork, and... More

We were very lucky to stumble upon this place while in the area for work. Horray iPhone on the road. I've been twice. The first time, I had the palomino steak which was outstanding. The next time I had the Cuban roasted pork. What a fantastic Cuban restaurant a little off the beaten path. The food and atmosphere are amazing.... More

This was an excellent, casual Cuban restaurant. The wait staff (Roberto and Vicky) were very friendly. They took the time to talk with our kids even though the restaurant was jam packed. The food was very authentic and plentiful. We would definitely return!
