El Ambia Cubano Rocks !!!... I've had the privilege of sampling some very authentic Cuban fare from key west to ny, and El Ambia Cubano stands up with the best of them. The restaurant sits across from the river, in a small house like building. The inside is small and inviting, and they have a patio.. The food) WOW.. I... More

This restaurant is not permitted to serve liquor consequently the mojitos are made with wine or malt liquor? rather than rum. The food is pretty good however.

Thank you for visiting El Ambia I like to clarify that El Ambia has a lic to serve beer and wine. Our mojitos has excellent quality and are made with Rum from fermentation. Our lic give us the right to serve Rum from fermentation process and not destilation, in other worlds from fermentation you can get less % of alcohol... More

My wife and I visited for dinner - it was a great experience. The wait staff are very professional - attentive without being smothering. The food was a delight - great seasoning and wonderful sides. It's quite reasonable, and I highly recommend it.

A few sayurdays ago, on a whim my husband and I decided to try this spot that was recommended to me. Nestled against a huge tree, We were pleasantly surprised by how rustic, intimate and cozy it is. The Cuban culture is portrayed on the walls and through the music that's played. The warm service was outstanding as was the... More

Our family stopped for lunch after a kayak trip and what a great time. We started with the testones and maduros and of course a cool, refreshing mojito and each of us enjoyed one of the amazing Cuban sandwiches. We topped it off by sharing a flan. Fantastic and highly recommended.

My wife and I have been vacationing in Florida for 30 years and always try to find a Cuban restaurant to visit for a meal. We went to El Ambia for lunch last week. El Ambia is by far the best. It has it all - great food, good service, location, ambiance. If you're looking for a Cuban meal in... More

Came here for dinner. The food was really tasty. Nothing over the top or weird, just great tasting. Portion size was good. Great service too. Pretty packed on Friday night. Was alone so I sat at the kitchen counter. it was fine for about 20 min. but after that the smoke from the cooking food and fryer started bothering my... More

After a long exhausting auto train I was ready for my Cuban fix in Melbourne. Parking was dicey even on a Monday at noon! But we parked at the nearby park and were welcomed in by two attendants. The ropa vieja was not ready so I followed the recommend alternative boliche. Great beans, yellow rice and a cold beer. Perfect... More

Although Cuba is now opening for the American traveler, you may not have a chance to visit that country. For a taste of Cuban food, try the El Ambia Cubano in Old Town Melbourne. We began our meal with the Cuban bread, and it was delicious. All four of us enjoyed a different meal, including Masas de Puerco, Ropa Vieja,... More
