If kicking back with a beer, a shrimp taco, good music and watching dolphins from your table sounds great, then head to Berts. Have a boat? Pull up to the dock, park your boat and head inside. The band on Thursday nights is worth a visit always. The vibe is always relaxed and happy, the staff very friendly and helpful... More

I had the fish tacos and I have to say I really enjoyed them but the place is a bit cramped inside. The views are excellent though and if it wasn't for the heat we would of sat outside. Definitely a locals favorite by the looks of it. It is always packed.

You can't beat the view off of the deck at Bert's. It is the perfect place to get a drink and watch for dolphins and manatees. We see them most often in the evening, usually around sunset. And the colors dancing off the water at that time of day are truly beautiful. The food is tasty and the service is... More

Bargain lunch with a great view and quick service. I had fried grouper basket which was fresh and fast. My husband had a fries oyster basket that was excellent. We will be back. Fun laid back atmosphere.

Bert's has become a good hang out. A must when in matlacha. Food is average, but u want to go there for the atmosphere. After just a few visits they will know u by name. Bartenders r very friendly and will go out of there way to make u comfortable.

Keep your expectations in check and you'll enjoy. This is a historic fish shack want to see. Busy. We had to wait a little and then jam the 5 of us into a small table. The food was just ok. We endulged in fried seafood and coronas. Setting was nice. We took pictures on the dock with an amazing sunset... More

I've been coming to Berts since I moved to the Cape back in 06' and this is the place I bring all of my family and friends when they come to visit. If you want to experience what Matlacha is all about then you gotta go to Berts. Their menu has a good selection of seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and PIZZA. Yes... More

Great live music. Local hang out and seafood restaurant. Get local Pine Island middle neck clams on the halfshell. Try all local items and you will be happy...

We are new residents to the area and were looking forward to a relaxing time at one of the local restaurants. We sat down and the waitress passed us three times without a word. My husband got up and went to look for assistance. While I was waiting the musician, who was playing Calypso music on steel drums; Three separate... More
