We return every trip to Florida!

It is a fun dive bar with nice folks. We always seat ourselves outside on the deck (several umbrella shaded tables) and its directly on the water. They usually have great specials and fun entertainment.

Good seafood and pleasant food mark this Pine Island landmark. It has been in business long enough to require a separate building for Bert's T-shirts and memorabilia. Warning: Parking and traffic can be difficult.

I've been here twice, will be visiting the bar again in a week or so. This bar has got its charm. The food tastes good and the staff is friendly. Live bands play there now and then, and the atmosphere is great! Sit inside and take a look at all the signs and pictures on the walls, or sit outside... More

We have been here before and decided to go on our son's 10th birthday he decided he wanted hamurgers. The burgers were delicious, and a gentleman was there on the steel drums Calypso Magic which really made us feel welcome to Flordia on our 1st day and son's 10th birthday.

As others have indicated, you won't find this place unless you're looking for it. Located at the approach to the Pine Island Bridge, Bert's is in Matlacha (mat lah shay), the narrow front and small sign makes it easy to miss. Going in is stepping back in time. It goes back to the dock, with indoor and outdoor seating. The... More

Don’t let the nondescript façade of this place keep you away. It may look well past its prime, but there’s enough to the place to make a visit worthwhile. Bert’s actually offers two distinct options. Al fresco dining on the deck offers an interesting waterfront view to go with okay seafood and okay service. Inside, there’s a bar that many... More

What a great find. The view is wonderful and relaxing overlooking the water, the service is great and fun. It is a very laid back casual place to kick back and just enjoy. The one day we were there a stell drum player was playing - so relaxing. The food is casual and very good. A definite must place to... More

My husband and I went to Bert's as it was highly recommended. The sign said to seat ourselves outside, so we did. A couple must have just left because there was a signed bill, a dirty table and food that hadn't been cleaned up. After about 15 minutes, the waitress came around to take our drink order. We waited more... More
