I've been coming to Berts since I moved to the Cape back in 06' and this is the place I bring all of my family and friends when they come to visit. If you want to experience what Matlacha is all about then you gotta go to Berts. Their menu has a good selection of seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and PIZZA. Yes... More

The food is kind of plain bar type food but the service was really below average. It took quite a while for her to break away from her friends that she worked with to come and at least take our order. When I asked "What is your favorite" She replied..."OH! I really don't eat here at all so I couldn't... More

We are new residents to the area and were looking forward to a relaxing time at one of the local restaurants. We sat down and the waitress passed us three times without a word. My husband got up and went to look for assistance. While I was waiting the musician, who was playing Calypso music on steel drums; Three separate... More

Great food , drink & service, beautiful spot on the water. Eat outside or in . Lots of great T-shirts for sale. Steel drum Calypso music outside on the deck when we were there. Will defiantly go back!

We enjoyed a great evening at Bert's during the July 4th week, so much so that we went back again! The band, Deb & the Dynamics, was so much fun! The location on the water is wonderful. The drinks are reasonable and the food is okay. We will definitely go back again.

Couldn't even get a smile from a server. Only person who acknowledged us when we walked in was the guitar player. Never got waited on and as we were walking out, The server just glared at us. And by the way, the servers look like they've been on a crack binge. Never go back and never recommend. Nasty!

I don't remember what the fish was called. I've never heard of it before. You can choose how you want it cooked; I picked grilled. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. It came with bread and 2 sides. I choose the home made chips, which we call crisps. They also were the best I've ever had. Service was good... More

Love Berts! The blackend grouper Rueben is the best around! Right on the water in Matlacha on Pine Island.

A local told us to make sure we saw the band (Deb &....) later that night. We did and were surprised by the mastery of the musicians in this band. They were waaay better than good! After having a bite (Burger & Grouper FIngers) and a cold beer at the front bar we headed to the back room to listen... More
