We enjoyed a great evening at Bert's during the July 4th week, so much so that we went back again! The band, Deb & the Dynamics, was so much fun! The location on the water is wonderful. The drinks are reasonable and the food is okay. We will definitely go back again.

Couldn't even get a smile from a server. Only person who acknowledged us when we walked in was the guitar player. Never got waited on and as we were walking out, The server just glared at us. And by the way, the servers look like they've been on a crack binge. Never go back and never recommend. Nasty!

I don't remember what the fish was called. I've never heard of it before. You can choose how you want it cooked; I picked grilled. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. It came with bread and 2 sides. I choose the home made chips, which we call crisps. They also were the best I've ever had. Service was good... More

Love Berts! The blackend grouper Rueben is the best around! Right on the water in Matlacha on Pine Island.

A local told us to make sure we saw the band (Deb &....) later that night. We did and were surprised by the mastery of the musicians in this band. They were waaay better than good! After having a bite (Burger & Grouper FIngers) and a cold beer at the front bar we headed to the back room to listen... More

We were headed to check out the town and decided to stop at Bert's for late lunch/ early dinner. Parking on the strip was terrible, not through any fault of the restaurant, but I can't imagine going there in high season. We walked through the bar and at 4 pm on Friday, it was packed. The room was dark and... More

We took our boat out on the pass and decided to stop in for a bite. The dock was easy to access even with a 50' Sea Ray taking up multiple spaces and we choose one of the picnic tables over looking the water. The breeze and the sun made a wonderful addition to the meal. I decided on the... More

I recently had some family in town from Chicago & I told them I wanted us to listen to a band I was sure they would love. We got there an hour before the band started so we had some drinks & dinner while we waited. The food was absolutely delicious. Two of us had shrimp, grilled & blackened to... More
