Best grouper sandwich

8oz. Of fresh grouper. Can't get any better than that. Had it crispy but next time I'm going for the blackened. Bought large sea scallops, hogfish and smoked salmon to take home. Freshest fish around.

This place sells the freshest fish ever with some species available which one can't find every day such as Golden Tilefish or Cobia. Worth the drive and they will package your purchase in plenty of ice.

Thank you for coming and visiting us from Fort Myers Beach! We are glad you enjoyed our selection, which does change daily depending on what our fishermen caught! Our skilled anglers do catch great fish including the more unique ones like Golden Tilefish and Cobia!! Hope to see you again soon! Thank you, Katie & the Island Seafood Market Team More

While we waited for the food, the owner came out and greeted everyone. They even brought our chips out while we waited for our food. It's a must eat fir fresh... More

The boat is tied up in the afternoon if you want to see the people who caught your dinner. Buy it fresh by the pound or they will cook it up for you from the menu. The pelicans give you the evil eye, but its all worth it.

We stopped here 3 times during our stay. The smoked salmon is the best. We also had the grouper sandwich and smoked fish dip. Everything was delicious. Everyone was very friendly and courteous.

This is what we have been looking for, for the past 5 years. Fresh caught seafood. The owner was on site, eager to teach and share his passion for fishing. Love it!

On our drive through Matlacha, we decided to pick up some fresh fish for dinner. As luck would have it, we chose the Island Seafood Market, which is on the main road through town. Surprisingly, there are not many fresh seafood places on the Florida Gulf Coast, but here you can choose from a variety of freshly caught fish. Freshly... More

I stopped in to buy some seafood when I first got to the island. I was a bit dismayed at the prices, but purchased anyway (I can find fresh shrimp in Denver cheaper than this). Everything was OK, except scallops were too big - if I had not really had a hankering for scallops I would not have bought them.... More

Thank you for taking the time to review. There are stores across the county not in close proximity to the ocean that have "fresh" seafood, fish, and shrimp at cheap prices. We would caution our customers to be aware of where these items really come from for their own health. At Island Seafood we sell local, fresh and sustainable shrimp,... More

Wow! The blackened grouper sandwich was by far the most delicious seafood of our trip. A place to come back to again and again.
