Fun, family friendly restaurant, but also a good bar where you can relax after work with a frozen maragita. Always busy, the service is outstanding and they can move people in and out quickly. The red snapper I ordered looked suspicously like ordinary farm raised tilapia and was returned for another menu item. The manager refused to come over to the table when confronted about this concern. It seems the restaurant is substituting the red snapper for ordinary tilapia (at the same price) hoping diners won't know the difference. Beware those who don't know... more

Expensive for a CHEESIE LATIN-FUSION (MEXICAN/SPANISH) UN-INTERSTING DIVE. It's like a place that serves chinese and japanese cuisine-typically neither are done well! La Bamba has the best Mexican food in S. FL. There is always a wait but you are easily seated in under 15 minutes. Homemade chips and 2 salsas are on your table as soon as you are seated.
