Excellent food and service

Unassuming storefront restaurant in a small strip mall but don't get put off by this. Once inside the surroundings are pleasant and commensurate with the quality of the food. My hubby and I hosted a huge Valentine's Day Party at our home. Despite our pleas to have my in-laws join us they opted for a meal out. Thank goodness we made it off the waiting list and were able to reserve a table of four for the in-laws and their friends. I've always enjoyed the delicious meals at Island... More

Very French bistro like. Wife had salmon, I had chicken. Both excellent. Service and wine compliment the excellence of the food. Restaurant is tucked away in a small strip center. Easy to miss but GPS fixes that.

Went for the early bird 5-5:30. With purchase of any entrée you get to choose any soup, salad or appetizer plus dessert all for the price of your entrée. I had the soup of the day, lobster bisque, mushroom ravioli, and homemade key lime pie. All amazing. Hubbs had the goat cheese and onion tart, steak Diane, and pie. All... More

Wonderful food and service. Limited menu but varied including a vegetarian ravioli. Salad included. Nice reasonably priced wine list.

This was our first experience at this restaurant, and it certainly won't be the last! From the outside, this restaurant doesn't look like much, but the interior is very warm and attractive. The tables are far enough apart that you can carry on a conversation without feeling like you're inviting the next table to join in. The service was great,... More

We've been to this restaurant twice in the last month and both times the food and service was excellent. Convivial atmosphere, lovely decor down to the tablecloths, excellent waitstaff and most importantly, excellent prepared, quality, delicious food.

We have dined here several times, and each visit has been delightful. Excellently prepared food, very nice presentations, and impeccable service. The owner is very gracious and constantly checks back to make sure that all is well. He recommended the yellow tail snapper with almonds, and a beurre Blanc sauce. It was perfect. My wife was very satisfied with the... More

Intimate restaurant with limited seating but a great menu. Very nice, quiet atmosphere conducive to conversations. We were two couples and used the table in the "wine cellar". Highly recommended. Food was very well prepared, had the right temperature and was well presented. A gem of a restaurant in Marco Island.

I am a regular visitor to Marco Island over the past twenty Years. I am from Ireland , well travelled and very fussy about my food. In my two week vacation over the Christmas a new year the Island Café was by far the best restaurant we visited on the Island. The Crepes are to die for and we asked... More
