Our dinner at the Island Cafe was the best meal we had during our week on Marco this past December. The friendly staff was knowledgeable on the menu and made fantastic recommendations. All (4) of us had fantastic meals...the fish was especially fresh and flavorful. We will be back. Thank you!

When I read all of these raving revues I must have caught this place on a bad night when my family and I dined there. It would be a compliment to call the service fair and the food average. I really expected a much better dining experience,especially at these prices.

The best is the fresh fish special. excellent food. Atmosphere is nothing special. Good wine and beer selection but no mixed drinks. Second best choice for food on the island in my opinion. Always have Gene as waiter. knowlegeable and friendly.

My wife and I ate at the Island Cafe last week based upon the reviews that it received in Yelp. We were not disappointed. Don't let the simple building exterior discourage you. Inside we thoroughly enjoyed .... Personalized greetings and friendship from the owner (Bill), Great table service (Gene), and equally enjoyable food (Mussels and Grouper with Crab).

The Island Cafe is a Marco Island feature. Found on N. I have been there three times over the past 5-6 years (I don't get to Marco every year) and all three times my family and I have had different menu items that we all loved... Great food and great price... Escargo, mussels, seafood linguini, salmon, tilapia, steak, n even the desserts are all good if not great

My wife and I went to the Island Cafe with another couple. A menu selection that covers all the bases. My wife had the petite fillet done to her perfect temperature. I had a loin of pork stuffed with a garlic tomato paste which was an unusual taste treat. The other couple had a well received flank steak and chicken.... More
