Food is very good and service is excellent. We ate here two times during and were very satisfied both times.

Food was ok, although I had much better Grouper at two other restaurants. It took forever to get the check, and then the staff unable to do a split to multiple credit cards in a timely fashion (we ended up having one of us pick up the check while we reimbursed him). Service generally slow and not particularly attentive. You... More

To keep it simple, the food is very good to excellent. However, the menu is limited, and in my opinion the prices are more than most comparable restaurants. The house salad was a disappointment with way too much iceberg in the mix and heavy dressing. It's not hard to make a good house salad. The cuisine is French, so please... More

My wife and I enjoyed this restaurant, but after attending Verdi's, Marek's, and Fin Bistro it was a disappointment. The staff was nice, but the atmosphere and food quality IMO was not on the same level as the other restaurants. However, there did seem to be a lot of locals from the island that dine here. Therefore, maybe I am... More

As regular visitors to the island, we've probably driven by the Island Cafe a hundred times, but never tried it before. I guess it's because the curb appeal is, well, unappealing. But, after spending a little time reading all the TA reviews, we decided it was time to give it a try. So glad we did! Once you walk through... More

Our kids gave us a gift certificate over a year ago for this place and we couldn't get in it was always booked...and it is tiny in size...so we made our reservation before our annual trip to the Island this time....what a delight....great menu, great wines, great service and great desserts...we will be back and only hope we can get... Island Cafe is tucked away in an undistinguished strip of small stores, but it is a gem among many good restaurants in Marco Island. We took our friends for a Valentine's Day dinner and the service, appetizers, ydinners, wine and desserts were all delicious, perfectly prepared and presented leading to a fantastic evening out. The dining room is small, but... More

We have eaten at the Island Cafe many times and we always enjoy a good meal. What it lacks in exterior charm (it is a small storefront in a tiny strip mall), it makes up for with good food and quaint ambience inside! The seafood and beef entrees are consistently well prepared and delicious. Last night I enjoyed tilapia with... More

Restaurant location could be missed, but don't. Small and elegant. We have eaten in this restaurant at least four times prior to last night. This was our first experience with The Island Cafe's "early bird". Wow, so unique. Order your entree and appetizer and dessert are free. Yep, free. You can come in later, enjoy exact same entree, and pay... More
