We found this little gem on Trip Advisor and based on the positive reviews decided to try it. In a word... OUTSTANDING! Our first visit was on April 28th. It was only a 5 minute drive from our Villa but extremely difficult to find (even with our navigation). Many people have accurately described it as not impressive from the outside.... More

This cafe is deceiving from the outside. It is located in a small strip mall with no outside dining which may be a turn off for some Florida diners. We had dined at many of the local outdoor spots and were in the mood for something nicer. Island Cafe did not disappoint. The crepe asparagus appetizer, spinach salad and French... More

Too bad Hockeymomgg had a bad experience. By contrast, we loved everything about the place (including the decor!). Island Cafe is a small , out of the way restaurant, well worth looking for. The decor was understated with soft colors and warm lighting. I, personally, loved the lace toppers over the tablecloths; nice, subtly elegant, touch. Everything about our dinner... More

This is the very first time I left NO tip. Oh my goodness this waiter was not nice at all, we were a burden to him. It took him a half hour to get our check!! We are guessing he didnt like us because we ordered sparking water? Or maybe because we were not dressed up? Who knows 😣Now lets... More

This restaurant has a quiet "fancy" feel to it, but my kids love it! (Ages 5-13)Their soup is outstanding. Their veggie appetizer with goat cheese is my favorite. Their bread is so yummy! I love all of their fish entrees. My hubby like their sauces. The desert list is hard to pick from, but everything we have had is excellent

This restaurant is a gem, hiding in plain site....we went for the early bird and everyone in our party loved their meals. Food was a perfect "10". In addition to the food, the service was friendly, timely, and coordinated, but not too formal. We were seated in the wine nook, and it was lovely. We highly recommend the Island Cafe-

Our server promoted the "Chef's Specials" so I ordered a seafood pastry that turned out to be a very small portion that looked like a piece of bread pudding with no taste and the worst meal I ever ate. I told our server it was not very good and his response was "I should have just ordered it as an... More

This is an old school type place but feels warm and not too stuffy. Menu had several specials which we tried and enjoyed. Definitely a home-cooked vibe to the food and it was rich and hearty. Wine list was good and reasonably priced, unlike most of the over-priced Marco restaurants. All in all an excellent value for Marco and we... More
