I was surprised to see this restaurant closed on my recent trip to Marco. I had heard the original owners sold it recently, I guess the new owners couldn't make a go of it.
We dine at Mozarts every year when we visit Marco Island and love it. This year we had been on a fishing boat during the day and brought our 'catch' to Mozarts for them to prepare the fish for us. It was the best fish I have ever tasted - Mozarts prepared the fish 3 different ways for us and... More
What a nice surprise to find a Viennese restaurant at a Gulf Coast resort area. I'm sure some diners would find the food too heavy in the heat but sometimes you just need some spaetzle. We had the platter for two and it was plenty of food nicely prepared. The waitress was friendly and helpful.
As you enter on the right you see a manikin sitting at the piano, dressed in period piece. The atmosphere is great with classical violins in the air from their music system. The service was good and the food even better. My husband's family is from Germany and they cook "German" food several times a year when we have family gatherings. My husband nor I were not disappointed on the authenticity of the food. It was outstanding!!!!

She also advised us that the Mozart plate would be plenty for the four of us, and she was right. We started with the potato pancake... More
We had a brand new waitress. ...so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. She tried....and did pretty good. Overall, very friendly people and food was good. I prefer sweeter carrots and cabbage, but if you like German food, you shouldn't be disappointed. My groom would have liked cocktails. You should really give this place a try.....so nice to... More
If you come to Marco Island, head off the beaten track to House of Mozart.. Authentic German fare and wonderful service!! You will absolutely make this a definite return restaurant.
We took some friends to the charming restaurant in a shopping mall near to Publix and they were blown away. Inside The House of Mozart, the decor is warm and inviting. Piano music was lovely - played by Anna who is there in season. But the best part is the food. Many choices and all of them marvelous. The salad... More
