We went on a Saturday night around 7 and the place was empty. The waitress was never around and never refilled the drinks. The food is very overpriced for the quality. The coleslaw was dry and had no flavor. The crab cake was average at best with way too much breading. The lobster bisque is good but 7.00 bucks for... More

The atmosphere was very good; a lot of fish, sharks, etc decorations. Service was barely average; waitress was MIA often even though they weren't busy. I had the fried oysters (21.99 for 12 with no sides); my hubby and son had burgers - they said they were good. We were out $65 with tip for 2 burgers, one dozen oysters,... More

Very overpriced compared to website everything is at least $5 higher. Servings are also small with the waiter not caring about anything except his tip which was put in the total. Will not be going there in the future

We stumbled upon this place last night. At first the server was not very friendly but did eventually warm up to us. We had the Tropical Shrimp Cocktail & Boom Boom Shrimp for starters. The shrimp were huge & very tasty. We both had the Plaintain encrusted scallops which were out of this world good. The mashed sweet potatoes were... More

We love Captain Brien's Seafood. They have a great menu, really nice & friendly staff, and is themed well. The service is a bit slow and touch/go at points, but overall, it won't damper your experience. Definitely order fish here. They do a great blackened Mahi and/or Grouper that will have you coming back a 2nd, 3rd, etc. time. We've... More

The menu and food are both solid. Nothing exceptional about this place though. It is a good place to go for good, casual seafood. Thought the prices were a little high, but all in all a good experience.

We have been coming here for years, normally we come here a couple times when we vacation in Marco but only went once this year. The sea food is very over priced for the portion. Don't waste your time getting a mixed drink, not worth the price. The staff here is very nice and it's a great atmosphere for a... More

This was not my favorite meal while on vacation here, but it was pretty good. I had the seafood broiled platter, it could have used more seasonings. My husband and son enjoyed their meals. I loved the nautical decor. The service was a little slow, they seemed understaffed for the night before a holiday. We had a voucher from restaurant.com,... More

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place. The service was great and they helped me choose a meal to try when I'm usually not up to trying new sea food. We had the gator bites and I had the grouper bites and they were amazing! So amazing, that we went to Captain Brien's twice during our stay in Marco.... More

Lots of good menu choices. Highly recommend the lobster Reuben sandwich. A definite two-fister! I understand they are under new management. I think they are doing a great job.
