Tucked away in the northern most point of Old Marco is Cafe de Marco. An intimate bistro/cafe serving the most diverse selection of fresh seafood & other continental specialties since 1983. A favorite amongst locals & seasonal return visitors to Marco Island. Reservations are greatly appreciated. Olde Florida atmosphere in the historic district of Olde Marco. Perfect for an outstanding meal, business, or special occasion. Vast wine selection and beer available. Twilight specials and children's menu available. Owned and operated by same owner & family since starting out in 1983. Our building enjoys a rich piece of Marco history. The Cafe's building was the original quarters for the chamber maids employed by the historic Old Marco Inn just a few yards away. Many years ago the Inn functioned as a "bed & breakfast", and the maids would simply walk to work from our building. This explains the answer to a frequently asked question..."Was this an old house at one time?" Today, step inside to what has been transformed into an islander's tradition for over 30 years. We look forward to serving you soon! ~Sandy Franchino, Owner

Love this place

This is a go to place when we visit Marco Island. The staff are friendly and the food is outstanding. My favorite is the giant prawns but I have had other dishes and all were good. It is a little pricey but worth it.

Dined out here with a relative and had crab cakes, tuna, and a shrimp dish. Very nice restaurant, no issues with service. Our waiter was quite pleasant. I found nothing negative during our outing to mention. I had the tuna...was a little skeptic...it was great. The portion was more than enough. My company quite enjoyed the shrimp as well. Had... We have been going to Marco Island for many years and each year we have dinner at Cafe De Marco at least 2 or 3 times over our 2 week stay. This year again was excellent one night I have macadamin encrusted grouper and my husband had snapper almondine. They were both cooked perfectly. The meal comes vegetables and amazing... More

This is a locally owned restaurant which has been around for over 30 years. We decided to give it a try after it was recommended to us and are we glad we did! The lobster bisque is sublime! Hubby had grouper with the de Marco sauce and I had crab cake. Everyone at the table agreed it was an excellent... More

We had reservations that weren't needed since the place was only partially full. The tables are placed very close together! So close, the folks next to us learned a lot about our lives and family. Anyway back to the menu, the giant prawns are a giant price so two in my party had the Twilight menu for $14.99. Their choice... More

We went to Cafe De Marco midweek. The restaurant is small, so make reservations to assure quick seating. They had one unique touch I had never seen in a restaurant, sound absorbers on the ceiling. This really helped with the sound. Our waiter, Scott, was professional, attentive and efficient. The food was delicious! My wife had the crab cakes. They... More

Have been to Marco for several years and wanted to try this place for sometime. Went here last night with another couple without a reservation and we were seated right away. Two ordered the Scallops and Shrimp stir fry which was very tasty. Two us ordered the Twilight Special, fish was cooked just right but the green beans were severely... More

We went on a week night without a reservation but still were seated right away. The wait staff was prompt and very friendly. Food was excellent! Decor was very nice not "Italianly." Would go back again when in the area.

Read the reviews on Trip advisor and liked the sound of this one. So we booked it. We arranged for a taxi A CARR transportation (239-394-0900) which we had also used for the airport and found to be very good. We were very pleased to find out that Cafe de Marco was one of the restaurants on Marco that have... More
