Great service, delicious food, inexpensive, hot coffee. Try the Nutella French toast and the potato casserole!

A "bit from the beach" means two miles, easy on a bike or in a car, but a long walk. Red Rooster has a basic, good value menu that is prepared well. No need to get ripped off at your beachfront rental. Many locals are there, mostly seniors. Dress is casual. As a local, I would recommend it to people... More

We had a Shrimp Po-Boy and a Pulled Pork sandwich. Both were spot on. Shrimp was very fresh and perfectly cooked. Bread was as good as New Orleans. Remoulade sauce is very tasty. Potato salad was freshly made and exceptional. I recommend highly.

Great consistent food. Never a bad meal from proprietors Ann and Hoot Rudolf. The food is so good that there is often a considerable wait and that tells you something.

We stopped in for breakfast. About a 20 min wait. My husband had the huevos rancheros with black beans. I wished I had gotten that. It was great. I had the veggie omelet. It was fine. Their grits are good and their bread is good too. It's a cute place and like most restaurants on Marco, a bit pricey.

This is one of those places that get packed. I guess people in Marco Island love their breakfast / brunch. There's always a line out the door. We waited about 20 minutes and were seated. The interior is like diner-like and small but sufficient. Our waitress was multitasking and quick, but they could definitely use another hand, easily. For instance,... More

We arrived in Marco Island tired and hungry. We found the Red Rooster while searching for a grocery store and decided to eat before doing the food shopping. We ate outside so we could "people watch" and as soon as we were seated the waitress came and asked if she could bring us drinks. She made some menu suggestions and... More

I always say I will try something else but always end up ordering the quiche. It is creamy with a great crust. My husband got a vegetable omelette that was also wonderful with fresh asparagus, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, etc. The only drawback to this restaurant is the long lines in season. Now that the crowds have thinned we will be... More

Friendly staff, large portions, great selection. Tiny restaurant but we never had trouble getting a seat. Try it!
