Let me first say that I am really tired of comments about waiting for a meal. Please...GET OVER IT. This is Florida in January and you WILL wait no matter where you go. Many places are small, and most people really appreciate the cozy and comfortable atmosphere they present their customers. I know I do! I really love this place... More

The other day we returned for the third (but not the last) time for lunch at the Red Rooster. My wife had shrimp and grits off the breakfast menu, and I had the spinach salad from the lunch menu: spinach, red onions, bacon, candied pecans, and a ton of sliced fresh strawberries. Outstanding! This one was worth the wait. It only holds 55 people. The breakfast menu is typical American and a nice variety. My wife had the pancake, eggs, and bacon special. I had the half order of biscuit and gravy with eggs and hash brown special. The service was as exceptional as the food, and the prices are very fair. We... More

I ordered the veggie omelet with a biscuit and grits. I did not like the biscuit. The bread that others ordered looked much better. The veggie omelet was ok but I would ask for cheese with it. I also prefer omelets be made by mixing the ingredients with the egg mixture and cooking it as one. Here they cooked the... More

A great place to go for breakfast and lunch (closed for dinner) The hardest options is to decide what you want to eat all freshly prepared and very tasty.
