Great Breakfast, Caring Staff, Reasonable Prices

My family and I found out about this place when searching for a restaurant that didn't charge $3 for a single, cold boiled egg. (We were tired of resort prices.) I had a breakfast skillet which contained diced potatoes, onions, peppers, bacon, and cheese- all prepared to perfection. My dining... read more

ALL homemade items, bread, gravy, biscuts, hash. Wait staff are friendly and experienced. Limited seating like every other good place on the island, get there early.

As a local I am lucky to be able to enjoy the many wonderful meals at the Roster. Today's meal was the California Scramble! Um delicious ! When you visit our lovely Island be sure to stop in and enjoy one of the daily specials or anything on the menu.

This place is small in size but big on value. Breakfast and lunch a speciality that won't disappoint. Not a must see touristy place, just down home good quality food. Take a break from the tourist places and enjoy some home cooking.

This spot is great. The food is delicious and the service is efficient and friendly. If it is on the specials board, try the banana's foster french toast. It is a heart attack on a plate, but that's probably how it earned the description "to die for." And their soups are wonderful. But then so is everything I've tried there,... More

My wife and I had breakfast here. It was a friendly, local joint, on the smallish side, but the service was great, the breakfast choices good, and the prices were acceptable. Not in the center of things, which makes it more of a local place than one for the tourists. Given its size and popularity, there can be a wait,... More

We had a pretty long wait for a table, but staff was very nice even though they were swamped. Quiche of the day was the choice for the entire table, and it came out quickly and hot.

We have enjoyed breakfast twice at the Red Rooster and Lunch Once. Every time we visit we have found the staff to be very friendly and they provide excellent service. There is a nice variety of breakfast and lunch items to choose from and everything was very fresh and tasty. This place gets crowded, so go early or be prepared... More

Found the service to be excellent and food to be just ok. I or any of the other 3 people in my party all agree its not worth a return visit.

A great deal! Dr. Seuss omlette was awesome! Kid menus and good prices for their food was a plus. We went twice in a 5 day trip. near a dollar store which was fun for the kids too!
