Return visit to the Red Rooster

Will definitely go back!!! Everything is homemade, food is great, ambiance is very relaxed and family oriented, you feel like you're having breakfast at your grandma's house :)

Excellent quality, presentation and service. We had the red rooster omelette. There must have been a half pound of the sweetest shrimp in it and a good size not those tiny ones. The dr Seuss omelette was delish as well topped with avocado. And let's not forget the rye and wheat thick slice toast. They make the bread from scratch... More

The place is a ways from the beach, but has a good basic menu. We have only eaten there for breakfast and lunch. We live year round on the island and have found Marco Island to lack a bit in resturant quality, especially during the January to April tourist season. However, we have found that the Red Rooster, along with... More

We eat here on a regular basis for breakfast and lunch the food is always well prepared and flavorful. Prices are reasonable, staff is fairly attentive- Stephanie is excellent, tables turn quickly if there is a wait. Definitely recommend.

My first trip here was a success. Bread was fresh, on site baked. Minnesota waitress was friendly. Friends had healthy looking sandwiches. I had small Caesar and rice and beans. Very pleasant overall experience. Cost with seltzer was $12.60. Worth the trip. Hard to get into in season.

One of our breakfast stops every year when we visit the area. We've ordered several different things and have never been disappointed. The mimosas are huge and beautiful and delicious. I always save my slice of homemade bread with jam for last...it's like a breakfast dessert. Great way to start the day!!

We are from the UK and was staying at Marco Island on our recent fantastic holiday. We walked to red rooster (we're British we walk places) from the hilton on a Sunday morning which was some walk but built up an appetite for a nice breakfast and allowed us to see some more of marco... And what a nice breakfast... More

2nd time visiting this restaurant from Naples, FL. It's a drive worth the doing because the breakfasts are so delicious and innovative. There are daily specials, scrambles, benedicts, quiches, pancakes, etc. Sounds like any other breakfasts…..but not so! Delicious, fresh ingredients served with bread made right there, cheerful service and a townie atmosphere. Located in a small shopping strip mall……...... More

My family and I found out about this place when searching for a restaurant that didn't charge $3 for a single, cold boiled egg. (We were tired of resort prices.) I had a breakfast skillet which contained diced potatoes, onions, peppers, bacon, and cheese- all prepared to perfection. My dining companions enjoyed their food: pancakes, link sausage, toast, fruit. We... More
