Above expectations

I went to Cocomo's with some friends on a saturday night and I must say our expectations weren't that high. We just needed to try a new spot in Marco and I have been pleasantly surprised by this one. Pub style restaurant w/ big bar, large menu and really good food. They will cook your fish that you catch and serve it...interesting...saw a large group doing this. Found out after that several restaurants do this.

We took a fishing trip, and our boat captain recommended we take our grouper here to be prepared. I guess I thought we would walk in with our big bag of fish and be greeted with enthusiasm. Definitely not. The owner said "hey, we'll seat you in 20 minutes" and didn't even take our fish back to the kitchen. We... More

There are two outstanding reasons to visit Cocomo's on Marco Island. One is their ahi tuna nachos, which are unique and extremely wonderful and addictive. The second is if you have been fishing and caught fresh fish and don't want to cook it yourself. They do a fantastic job of fixing your fish, and two of their preparation methods bear... More

Always happy with our meals, kids love game room. Service is great. Chicken dishes are delicious, their special bread is great , you must order it but it's worth it. Large booths for bigger party's. Give this resturant a try you won't be disappointed.

Family went here for an early dinner. Arrived at 3:55 and had the place to ourselves. Service was immediate and very friendly. My teenage daughter went for the chicken fingers and gave a "thumbs up". My wife had the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. She said the coleslaw on the side was some of the best she has ever... More

Usually one of our favorite Marco places for Ahi Tuna, Cocomo's front of the house was such a turn off, we went somewhere else. The hostess was pretty disinterested in our business. The situation could have ended completely different if she would have had a few customer service skills and a pleasant welcoming demeanor.

We have been to Cocomo's every week for 3 months this winter and have ALWAYS found the food to be excellent. The Tuna Nachos are excellent, get them rare, as is the catch of the day. Jerry the bartender has our drinks ready as soon as he sees us walk in the door. The grouper sandwich is the best on... More

My friend and our wives went to Cocomo's Friday evening on 22 Feb 2013 around 1900 hours. The place was full but we were seated immediately. We had caught some grouper and snapper and took it there to have their chef cook our catch. The options to prepare our fish included grilled, fried, Jamaican jerked, blackened, broiled or pan seared... More

We ordered Mongolian chicken, onion strings, taco salad, all very good. Restaurant -nice atmosphere and well kept. Hostess - no greeting, zoned out. We overheard our waitress mention twice that there was no busboy that day, tables around us not cleared but restaurant at 2:00 was not busy. I guess it was neither her job nor the hostess job to...
