If you live in Orlando you should visit at least once....

While not the best sandwich shop around it defiantly should be on your list of places to grab a quick sandwich if you live in Orlando. This is as close as you can get for a staple as it's been in the same place since the 1960s. Basically it's a small sandwiches shop serving cheese steak, subs... read more

Absolutely nothing special, at all, about this place. $17 for two people to get little baby subs! No thanks. I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but nothing special.

I was new to the area last week, and stopped and had a very good cheeseburger. Went back this week and ordered ONE cheese-dog, with relish. Took 15 minutes to get one freakin' hot dog (maybe they had a lot of orders called in, but at 12:30, there were only a few people in or outside the place) and the... More

Great for what it is....a quick, greasy, good tasting high calorie submarine. It's been in Maitland forever, it is a staple of the community. And now that Maitland is lo longer a small town but an urban metropolis, Kappy's is always busy. They added breakfast. You drive up, try to find a parking space, stand in line outside and eat... I have been going to Kappy's for years. Hand made milkshakes and one of the best Mushroom Cheese Steaks this side of Philadelphia. You can sit outside or at the counter inside and watch the making of the food. Enjoy the fries and the 50's experience.

Have been going here off and on for several years. Foods not bad if you are looking for a cheesesteak. Inside definitely not the cleanest. Staff is friendly. Prices are steep for what it is. 2 Philly cheese steak subs, 2 order of onion rings (about 7 or 8 frozen type per order) and 2 sodas will set you back... More

Been by this place a zillion times, decided to stop and try a cheese steak sub. BIG MISTAKE! Their menu shows cheese steaks cooked numerous ways with numerous toppings. My guess, the meat is fresh! NOPE, FROZEN! Actually, looks like "Sub-em's"! When the sub arrives it's over cooked, meat is hard as a rock. Onions burnt and bun is stale.... More

After years of driving by this place, we finally stopped. Why we stopped is a good question because between the four of us, no one had a good meal. My vegetarian sub was served on what tasted like a stale roll, topped with a little bit of lettuce, tomato, the cheapest cheese imaginable, a couple banana peppers and a hot... More

We have been by Kappy's hundreds of times in the past. We finally decided to stop and try the food. I had a submarine sandwich (turkey and provolone) and my husband had a hotdog. The food was very good, as was the pink lemonade, but it was a little unsettling to see it prepared using bare hands. We sat inside,... More

I've driven by here many time and have wanted to stop. Finally did. My wife and I split a Philly cheesesteak and an order of fries. And I got a vanilla milkeshake. The cheesesteak was really good. The meat was tender and delicious. The bread was good. We got mushroom, onions, peppers, and banana peppers. And a surprise! They put... More
