Have been going here off and on for several years. Foods not bad if you are looking for a cheesesteak. Inside definitely not the cleanest. Staff is friendly. Prices are steep for what it is. 2 Philly cheese steak subs, 2 order of onion rings (about 7 or 8 frozen type per order) and 2 sodas will set you back... More

Been by this place a zillion times, decided to stop and try a cheese steak sub. BIG MISTAKE! Their menu shows cheese steaks cooked numerous ways with numerous toppings. My guess, the meat is fresh! NOPE, FROZEN! Actually, looks like "Sub-em's"! When the sub arrives it's over cooked, meat is hard as a rock. Onions burnt and bun is stale.... More

After years of driving by this place, we finally stopped. Why we stopped is a good question because between the four of us, no one had a good meal. My vegetarian sub was served on what tasted like a stale roll, topped with a little bit of lettuce, tomato, the cheapest cheese imaginable, a couple banana peppers and a hot... More

We have been by Kappy's hundreds of times in the past. We finally decided to stop and try the food. I had a submarine sandwich (turkey and provolone) and my husband had a hotdog. The food was very good, as was the pink lemonade, but it was a little unsettling to see it prepared using bare hands. We sat inside,... More

I've driven by here many time and have wanted to stop. Finally did. My wife and I split a Philly cheesesteak and an order of fries. And I got a vanilla milkeshake. The cheesesteak was really good. The meat was tender and delicious. The bread was good. We got mushroom, onions, peppers, and banana peppers. And a surprise! They put... More

A friend and I were travelling through Maitland and we wanted to stop for lunch somewhere we'd never been. We saw Kappy's sign and stopped. It reminded us of a place that would be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It is a small restaurant with one row of indoor stool/counter seating and some picnic tables outside. We both ordered burgers... More

My second review of this place is one of great service and even a better Earl sandwich than ever. Our root beer floats were great and waffle fries crispy. The onion rings were pressed not real but fried crispy. These folks care that you are served right . The place is rusting and falling down but the food makes up... More

I read all the reviews on Kappy's and tried it last night. I got the traditional Philly Sub (beef, onions, cheese and mushrooms). When I got my sub I had to ask the server if she put cheese on it because I could not taste any. I pulled apart the bread and did see some, a very very small amount. The taste... More

We take our guests here when they come to visit. This is a restaurant that has been around for decades. It hasn't really been updated to keep up with the times, but that is what gives it its charm. Try the Kappy's Special..it's my favorite. The menu is huge, and while all items are excellent, I almost always order the... More

WOW! A real road food find!! We were driving by this place on our way north out of Orlando around lunchtime. Being true road foodies we turned around as this looked like our kind of place. If you are looking to be seated with white linen napkins and fine china, then drive on by. However, we sat outside at a... More
