i was compelled to write this particular critique, after having eaten at the other "store" in St. Pete Beach a few years ago during another of our Treasure Island beach vacations. As you read on you will readily SEE WHY I had to write about this particular visit... Dave's store in Madiera Beach immediatel caught my eye realizing it was... More

If you were to drive by Dockside Dave's, you probably wouldn't stop. The staff at our hotel recommended them. We were not disappointed. The grouper was fantastic!

We came here for scallops. There were several ways to order them: grilled, fried, lightly lemon-peppered grilled, blackened, I know there was more ways….We went for the lightly lemon-peppered grilled. Scallops melted in our mouth. Grouper sandwich looked awesome, we will be back to order it for sure. We had the seafood gumbo, a little spicy and awesome. The fried... More

We love Dockside Dave's at Maderia Beach. We each ordered one of their huge Grouper Sandwiches because, although we can't eat the entire things - we look forward to enjoying our leftovers. Their onion rings are awesome, a fish spread platter to start your meal is well presented and I can't say enough about the large piece of grouper that... More

Really good food. Quaint atmosphere. Great service. Reasonable prices. Enough said. This place is an "old reliable" when we're in town.

There were 5 of us and we all ordered different seafood dishes. Everything was fresh and large portions. The onion rings are great.

The food was wonderful but the décor left a little to be desired. The air conditioning couldn't keep up with the summer heat. During cooler weather it would probably be great to eat at the tables outside.

We come to Indian Rocks Beach each year for vacation and make sure to come down to Dockside Dave's for the onion rings every year. The onion rings are fantastic and their horseradish sauce is to die for! The gentleman that waited on us this time was great...he really interacted with our kids well and made the visit that more... We live in Tampa, but drive over here frequently. The grouper is the BEST. You can get it several ways, but we like it grilled. A real grilled flavor! Try the soup of the day. Or the gumbo. Fantastic. Service is very friendly. Atmosphere is beach bar and grill. Once you have this grouper, you will know you have not... More

Based on the glowing reviews, we decided to get lunch from here. And, it was only a 5-7 minute drive from our hotel. We ordered our food to go, and it was ready when we got there. Parking may be an issue, there is only a tiny lot behind the restaurant. Luckily there was one open spot when we got... More
