The locals at the resort said breakfast here was good but lunch and dinner were average. We had pancakes and waffles with eggs. The service was prompt and the food was very good. Prices were average for breakfast. more

This is another of my faves in Florida. Service can be slow at times, that's the downside. Sometimes you get seated and wait and wait for someone to come for your beverage order. The upside: Beautiful waterviews of John's Pass. And the food tends to be very good. One of my favorites is the Broiled Seafood Platter, which includes Flounder,... more

Live down the street and never went here because I thought it was a tourist trap. I was sooo wrong. It's great. Nice beachy atmosphere that one would expect and really fantastic food and service. Very glad that my husband and I were dragged there by our house guests! more

We have visited this restaurant many times over the years on our visits to the area. We were seated right away, server was very nice and prompt on all of our requests, and the value of our food was great for 3 adults and 3 children including drinks. Oysters were great quality and everything was prepared to our order. more

This restaurant is in John's Pass. After walking and shopping, we were looking forward to a nice dinner. Did not happen here. First of all, the service is really terrible. I understand when a place is busy and the waitstaff is just slammed. But, this place was empty and our waitress just diappeared. The prices are very steep, especially given... more

First of all, Grouper is available at every restaurant on the beach except here! We ordered the Seafood Festival and the Small Feast, you get alot of POOR quality food. The "famous" fritters were ice cold. The fried green tomatoes were hard as rocks. The service lacked horribly! How hard is it to refill a coke? Our server forgot our... more

We have been eaten at the Friendly Fisherman a number of times in past years. However, this year was the last time. While the view nice and the food OK, their prices have gone out of line for what you get. We were surprised to find that sides are now extra. My guess is that first timers will go there... more

This place has the atmosphere and view, but that's about it.Four people four bad dishes. I asked for our waiters recommendations the pasta. I think it is terrible that they pass this crap off to tourists. The owners, managers, and all other employees of this restaurant should be ashamed of themselves to serve this to guests of florida. more

This was our first and last trip to The Friendly Fisherman. The location is good, right on the water, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered grilled salmon and I have to say I have had better salmon at Red Lobster! It was very bland and tasteless. My husband ordered the fishermans platter, broiled, and it... more
