We have been going to Osaka for several years and it is a bit of a dirty dive however the sushi is probably the best on the beach. We visited a week ago and sat for nearly an hour waiting for sushi. We ordered drinks and had a surly response when it was pointed out only 1/2 of the drink... more
I've eaten sushi all over the US and this place is definitely in my top 3 of all time. Who knew it would be in the little strip mall in Madeira Beach FL that I would find such amazing rolls. It's definitely low key, just a little hole in the wall, but even on a Monday night they were slammed... more
I travel all over the US and Europe. This sushi restaurant is one of the top 3 that I've ever eaten in! The fish is so fresh, endless number of "rolls" and diversity. The staff was interactive and fun. I will always come back to Osaka when in the area. Thanks for a great meal!! more
Osaka's is the best sushi bar in Pinellas county. Its the only one me and my boyfriend will go to. They are very personable people. Go there once and they know your name for life. They really make you feel welcome. and their sushi is absolutly AMAZING. My favorite is their Tuna titaki (sp?) and their conch rolls. You gotta... more
As for the only bad review on here I have no idea why you would go out for sushi and get chicken and then write a review on that "experience" but anyway.. I have been going to Osakas ever since I moved around this area and it is amazing. The people who work there are so friendly and remember everyones... more
Great, fresh sushi in friendly atmosphere. You're only a stranger once, here! Try their special rolls posted on the white board for some favorite combos. more
I love Osaka. They have the best sushi in town and the staff is amazing. I wont eat sushi anywhere else more
I went there tonight and let me tell you it was horrible. I ordered chicken Teriyaki,whitch came with a yaki toss salad and a so so soup(mitsou). The chicken was grilled to perfection for makeing a leather shoe topped with Tetiyaki sauce and sprinkled with sassami seeds. My wife had garlic chicken more like a blend chicken soup with veggies.... more

My husband & I live nearby, we eat there at least twice a week..We have tried several other sushi restaurants in the area but Osaka is not pretentious, can go right from the beach (with coverups) and feel comfortable. Very friendly staff, and food is superb Sushi, Thai and Japanese dishes all fantastic! more
