Stopped by on the way back to our rental after dinner. Was not really impressed at all by the ice cream. It was freezer burnt and crystalized. Didn't own up to all the good reviews. Didn't buy any candy but it was all stuff you could buy at Walmart for half the price.

You must try this place at some point, or multiple times..lol This locale is the original one I believe, tiny little place with as much candy as you can want, but what you want and need, is the homemade ice cream!!! They have amazing flavors, and new ones, that they whip up, and sell till the container is empty and... More

In business since the 1950, this small business is a step back I time. With both homemade ice creams, candies from your childhood, and a wall of old Pez dispensers on display, on one wall, and old toys on another. You can't help but smile , just walking in the door. The employees seem happy, and interact with customers well,... More

We always make time for a stop at the Candy Kitchen while in Madeira Beach. The homemade ice cream is some of the best I have ever had.A great way to beat the summer heat.

Hubby and I went here for ice cream. Wow! Totally amazing! The ice cream is homemade and since strawberry is my favorite it was an easy choice. The shop is small and really packed full with all kinds of sweets! Recommended!

This little shop is full of just about any kind of candy you could ever want and some fantastic homemade ice cream. It is a fun treat for the eyes as well as the stomach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The serving sizes are HUGE, so be prepared! This was a really fun stop for us to end... More

Great value for your money. IMO could charge another dollar for the sizes. Lots of flavors all that we tried were good. Lines were long when we went at night but the service is very quick so not a long wait. We went a few times in a weeks stay in madeira beach.

We stayed within walking distance of this little gem. They had ridiculously good home made ice cream. I had the coconut and it had fresh coconut in it. The kids and I had fun picking out candy treats. Very reasonably priced. They literally begged to return to by "travel candy" before our flight home.....so we did. What a fun little... More

The family decided to go for ice cream for desert. We were amazed by the serving sizes. What is normally a double sized cone, at this establishment they are singles. You more than get your money worth. The homemade ice cream was terrific. I had the mint chocolate chip was fantastic. All of the ice cream I tasted was awesome.... More
