Beautifully Complex Flavors

Food was superb; service was good; atmosphere was average. The three of us shared a Vegetable Platter appetizer to start our dinner. Every item was perfectly prepared and all were flavored with different spices. Delicious! Our entrees were Shahi Paneer (creamy tomato cashew sauce), Butter... read more

We have found that most of the buffet items at Gateway to India are TOO spicy hot... the hottest of any Indian buffet food we've ever eaten. (We've eaten at many Indian buffets in numerous cities and states.) The first time we thought it might be a fluke so we gave them a second chance. Again, the food was SO... More

Amazing buffet, although a bit pricey. Well worth the money. Excellent staff, very polite and attentive. This is a family owned operation- and you can see the difference in the experience. Great selection on buffet- 2 meats, several lentil and veg dishes, bread, salad, and a dessert. Clean place. Family friendly.

Great service. Attentive. Friendly. Super onion kulcha naan bread. Piping hot. Excellent sauces. Prices are perfect to value. What a wonderful experience. If you like Indian food in a wonderful atmosphere, this is it.

My second visit. Everything I have had is new, flavorful, and not curry (although they have that, too). Amazing breads, too, and wonderful mango smoothy. Very healthful, too, and kids love it, as well. Lovely atmosphere and calm attentive service. Slam dunk.

We went for the lunch buffet. They had less offerings than other Indian lunch buffets we have visited, but what was there was tasty and well prepared. Today there was tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, vegetable korma, naan, biryani, and a few other dishes. The buffet was reasonably priced at $11.95 per person plus tax. It is not the cheapest... More

We love this place! We started going to an Indian place on 50 that is 25 minutes closer and recently were out near Gateway to India and decided to stop back in. Man we forgot what we were missing! We forgot the quality difference and will be making the drive from now on when we want Indian.

The food was amazing, and we had an option to pick one of the three heat intencities. Because we went while it was slow, we had the waiters brining us refills and extra plates even before we asked which was a much welcomed suprise! The food was slightly pricey, but it was so completely worth every penny. The music they... More

Lunch buffet isn't big, maybe 5 or 6 dishes, but that's all you need. The chicken tikka masala is amazing. Large rice cooker allows you to get as much as you want. Great bone in chicken and refreshing mango pudding to kill off the heat.

We stopped in for the lunch buffet. The food was very good. I tried several of the curries and other dishes on the buffet, and I liked all of them, especially the mushroom curry. The service was okay. The drinks stayed empty, which was annoying as some of the curries are fairly spicy. I also think it's a little pricey.... More
