We have enjoyed Polonias for breakfast twice and can't get enough of the home-made smoked kielbasa. They only serve breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. This visit we tried the rye bread toast, last visit the challah bread, both which are Polonia specialties! Their bakery case is filled with homemade treats. We will make it a point to visit again for lunch... More

Returned for a second visit a year after first, hoping food would be as good as first time. It was. My friend and I both ordered the beef tips over noodles. The beef was tender and had great flavor, as was the gravy. The noodles were homemade, a real treat for those who love noodles. If I had a complaint... More

It was my second visit to Polinia restaurant and it was great! Lunch or dinner - you are not going to leave hungry!!! Portions are very generous! Food is freshly prepared and delicious! Polish combo( stuffed cabbage, pirogies, kielbasa, etc) is a great way to try variety of Polish food if you are a newbie. Potato pancakes are one of the... More

Visiting from CA we dined with FL friends in their restaurant 2 weeks ago. Having also visited Palonia during the Christmas season you will find lines of people picking up orders of homemade kielbasa. Last month we dined on pierogi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and kluski noodles. Readers. We could not find a similar establishment near our home in south Orange... More

In house, home made kielbasa coupled with outstanding potato pancakes. You'd think that'd be all, but no, you can finish off with some of the best cheesecake in town. Highly recommend a visit.

We loved this place the first time we came. Unfortunately for us, the restaurant is sliding a bit. The food was very authentic. It was a big plus for us and it allowed us to overlook the sometimes spotty service. The food has become bland. We tried the stuffed cabbage and it lacked flavor and salt. The split pea soup... More

I have passed this restaurant hundreds of times and never gave it a second thought. A friend invited me for lunch and I was quite wowed. The decor was very simple and the polka playing in the background was a nice touch. The aroma in the air was amazing and had me hungry long before our food arrived. Everything we... More

First visit to this restaurant and it won't be the last. Its a small restaurant with a couple of tables. We didn't care about the decor (that wasn't why we went there). Once we sat down we noticed that the aroma made us feel welcome, like we were visiting someone's home. That was a good sign. We started with an... More
