My husband and I both ordered grouper sandwiches for dinner and stonecrab claws for appetizer. Our daughter had grouper fingers. Stonecrab claws was very good and fresh. $20/lb for mixed claws. Not bad at all compared to what we spend at Moore's Stone Crab, another restaurant in the island. We spent $80 for 3 lbs of jumbo claws there. So... more

We had an early dinner seated outside at the Dry Dock. We had the steamers and the fried clams for an appetizer. Both were great. We all had grouper for dinner. My husband and I both had it blackened and it was nice and spicy. My daughter had it fried and she enjoyed it very much. My sons' was grilled... more

I might be jaded, but my family enjoyed the Dry Dock, but no one was in a rush to come back for another try later in the week. Pretty much classic seafood joint with a reputation for Calamari, which we found to be average at best. Not a must do, but a good place to eat one day on a... more

Late check in at resort on a Saturday night, host recommended Dry Dock. What a way to start a vacation. This place kinda' set the bar for our evenings out. Let me begin by saying the bartender definely has a heavy hand. After a long day of air travel from New Mexico, we really appreciated the hospitality. The wait staff... more

Went to Dry Dock tonight the boyfriend. I got the shrimp and crab cake, he got the grouper (blackened). All of the seafood was cooked very well. The setting is surprisingly nice but it was raining when we went so we didn't get the best view. It seems that the house specialties were their pasta dishes and the grouper. We... more

The food at the Dry Dock was delicious! We got seated after about 20 minutes on a Wednesday evening. Our waitress was peppy and patient, even though it was evident she was quite busy. Even though she warned us the kitchen was really busy, the food came within a very reasonable amount of time. I appreciated the menu which included... more

My wife and I ate at Dry Dock a few years ago, and we returned this past week. It was so good, we went twice in three days. From the host at the door, to the bartender, to our wait staff, the friendliness and efficiency of the service was second to none. And so was the food. Do not miss... more

I always try to have lunch at the Dry Dock when I'm in Sarasota. It's one of my favorite seafood restaurants there. The service has been very good and I enjoy the food. I would also recommend the fried clams. more

We sat in a perfect seat surrounded by windows so our view was wonderful. Our waitress was not very attentive and we had to ask what the specials were and ask for bread, both of which she offered right away to tables around us. The price of the food did not match the quantity or quality at all. I am... more
