My wife and I stayed in Bradenton Beach and made the trip to Bayou Tavern twice. We had a fantastic meal both times. The Pizza was very good, the staff tremendous. Take in a meal at this quiet and unassuming place. You won't regret it.

I have eaten at this restaurant quite a few times, and every time has been a wonderful experience. Amazing dishes, great salads, and the waitstaff is super, especially James, who even sings if you are lucky!

Stopped here on our way back to Anna Maria Island after a day shopping at St. Armand's Circle. Very nice ambiance and a lot of windows to take in the natural beauty of the area. James, the server, was excellent!! He was funny, very informative, and even helped us out to our car during a lengthy downpour! The food was... More

Everything we had was great...pizza was to die for as well as the homemade limon cello. Savor end the calimari pasta...the calimari was so tender. Service was great. Enjoyed Debbie at the bar and James. Will definitely return. Truly authentic Italian cuisine.

I pulled in at 8:35 only wanting to order a pizza to go. But they were closed! It clearly says on the door open until 9:00. That means you are open until 9:00. If you are going to close whenever you feel like it, the posted hours should be 5-close. I won't go back.

The north end of Longboat Key has an old strip mall/shopping mall which fell into decay and near complete vacancy. Two businesses toughed it out and remained - Bayou Tavern and Design2000 Salon - until a new owner totally remodeled the mall. Businesses are gradually moving in, but not yet generating foot or vehicle traffic. It is worthwhile to pull... More

We have driven by this many times and didn't think to stop. The name "tavern" does not convey the great Italian food found here! We definitely will be back.

This place seems so authentic. I loved the salad and my meal but my husband felt his spaghetti came with frozen meatballs. Extremely disappointed!! The bread basket was great but if you ask for more beware they charge. It's no big deal but they should let you know. The staff was very friendly.

This place - situated on the lot where there is supposed to be a shopping "mall" thing. Only 2 of the properties where in operation - in addition to the Bayou Tavern. The BT has a very discree presence, and if you do no know it is there, like us, you might just pass by without seeing it. We where... More
