I had the fried shrimp dinner and it was great. My husband had a rack of ribs. They use a mustard type of sauce, so beware, if you don't like this type of sauce, don't order bar b que. They seemed to be short handed and the service was slow.

I tried this place out not long after moving to Live Oak, and was mostly disappointed. The overall appearance of the place was very nice, looking like a good BBQ place and in better shape than most chain restaurants such as Sonny's. The menu had plenty to offer, but the worst part was the service. It took far too much... More

I am a regular at Big Daddy's. The breakfast special is a great value at $2.99. They have a lunch buffet on Sundays for $10, but that includes your drink, salad and dessert, which is a good deal. Their ribs are excellent if you choose to order off of the menu. The place is very clean and the staff is... More

They have a great value on a breakfast meal for $2.99, incl. coffee. Depends on the cook as to whether you get a good meal or a mediocre meal. Have never been there for lunch but it is a good price also. As for their dinner meals, alittle overpriced for the area. BBQ is OK but not great. Waitresses have... More

Had lunch returning from WDW. Convenient from 1-10. $5.99 for a lunch special with a mixed meat sandwich, which was very good with sweet tea and the best french fries. The salad dressings were home made. the bbq sauce was great. Nice kids menu and they liked it much better than a happy meal. Worth a stop.

We had heard mixed reviews of this restaurant, but decided to try it ourselves. The menu is standard north Florida barbecue, burgers, fried fish, and some steaks. I ordered smoked chicken, and my dining partner the hamburger steak special, no salads. You would think that the kitchen would have been able to quickly fill this simple order within 15 minutes.... Tried the ribs & chicken. It was okay, chicken was very good. The mild bbq sauce was different but good. Will stop again if the occasion arises.
