I am so glad I decided to stop in this place. It is very clean and smells really good. The customer service was excellent as they were very attentive. The food was flavorful and there are so many choices. I would recommend everyone try this restaurant even a meat eater will find something delectable. I will be back when I... More

This place is awesome! Go if you've never had vegetarian Indian before. The food is absolutely delicious. You won't miss the meat!!! The service is wonderful. Very helpful in describing and suggesting things to try. The atmosphere is bland but the food is not! Very worth going to. Every time you take a bite you have a different flavor to... More

Woodlands is a vegetarian Indian restaurant. At first blush, you would think its a place to go for die-hard Indian food: even though there is virtually no atmosphere, the place is packed table after table with Indian families. So excited by the prospects and with high hopes, we ordered a feast. We tried the mixed appetizer plate, and then combination... More

I am originally from the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. My favorite food at an Indian restaurant is Sambar which is a very fragrant and spicy soup that can be poured over many dishes. Americans may not be aware of South Indian food such as Idli, Dosa, and Sambar because most Indian restuarants in the U.S. are North Indian... More

There is a place in Fort Lauderdale which is the 'known" Indian restaurant. If you look a little harder you will find The Woodlands and one other on University Ave that are so much better. I am a meat eater. Don't think that when you go for Indian food you need that meat. The food here is all vegetarian but... More

I have tried several Indian restaurants in the area and found this better than others. There are a variety of dishes including some Chinese preparations. The Thali was a good choice if you want to try a variety, if buffet is not available. Price is slightly more than expected for the place but the food tastes good. Service was good.... More

It was the best vegetarian restaurant in Florida. Lately the quality has gone down considerably. The buffet has the same items especially the weekend ones. Apetizers are pricey, 6 small pakoras are $8. I am still ok with the price if they stop cutting corners.

My new bride and did a mini honeymoon out in ft Lauderdale and found this great Indian restaurant. We went back twice because of the service and great food. If we had more time we would have tried everything on the menu! If you're in the area definitely check them out you will not be disappointed. They have a location... More

When I go there, I am always excited to order something new. The Pani Puri and the bathura taste just like they do in the streets of India. The food is so good, I referred family and friends who themselves referred other people. I love going to the restaurant. The staff is very nice. Good service and good food!
