Near A1A & Commercial Blvd. is "Delacaseas". It looks and feels like a New England Cafe. They are very clean, the tables are about 20 in two rooms, they have black and white checker board laminate floors, miss matched chairs, table clothes, pictures of seascapes, red tomatoes for salads on display. The husband and wife owners are very friendly addressing... More

We were headed to another restaurant and saw this so decided to stop in. This is a real gem. Decor is so sweet- I'd except to see it in coastal Maine. The cook and waiter - I'd expect to see them as bouncers at a Miami nightclub. So needless to say- lots of surprises. We both had Omelets - perfectly... More

Decor is unique and fun. Lots to take in while waiting. We got a takeout lunch and service was quick. Chicken salad was fresh, homemade, nicely seasoned. Chicken pie was with stuffing in a pie and very tasty. They gave us utensils and napkins to take with our meal.

John, the owner, and sweet sweet Helen as well as Armando welcome you to their most wonderful small bistro in Lauderdale by the Sea. It's the CHEERS of cafes "where everybody knows your name" once you have been there. The regulars, and there are many, also chime in. We asked for oatmeal and had the very best ever and my... More

We have enjoyed quite a few delicious meals here. The Eggs Benedict and French Toast are amazing. We would enjoy a lot more if they would open earlier on the weekend. 9:00 am is way too late!

We usually have a breakfast and/or lunch here when we are staying at Pompano Beach. It's a darling little eclectic place with whimsical decor. Bright and cheerful and clean. Wonderful breakfasts. Delicious eggs benedict. You can get fresh fruit as a side dish to your meal if you want to forgo fries or homefries. They sometimes have a specialty pancake... More

The lobster bisque is great! The pot pie is like a thanksgiving meal in a puff pastry. Great waitstaff.

We had the pleasure of eating lunch at Delacaseas Café on our recent trip to Fort Lauderdale. The cafe is very quaint and decorated with TLC. John and his team are turning out some of the tastiest sandwiches in South Florida. After being greeted by owner John we were served freshly baked raisin and ginger scones, a wonderful prelude to... It sounded so great. And the cafe itself is very cute. However, that is about all the good I can say. When we walked in we were told to sit wherever we wanted. It took 30 minutes before anyone paid us any attention. And then it was to offer us a drink (we ordered coffee) while we waited for someone... More
