Others will come and go but there will always be the Village Grille and Pump. Food can be quite good at times, but the real charm is the atmosphere and overall experience.

A great way to start your morning before going to the beach. Great breakfast, Steps to the beach. Sit in the air conditioned restaurant or at the sidewalk tables with a view of the pier.

The location is the best if you want to get breakfast and then hit the beach or do some fishing on the pier. They have a great fruit bowl and they put fresh fruit like berries in the pancakes if you want.

We visit Lauderdale a few times a year and always end up at the Village Grille for two or three meals in a week. Love the lunch specials. Hubby gets the blackened mahi mahi sandwich and I get either the chicken salad with Gorgonzola, walnuts, apples and cranberries, or the half sandwich and soup. Love the French onion soup and... More

Had dinner here at the start of a very busy Memorial Day weekend. Food was good and service was excellent. Easy to walk to from our hotel. Had the special 1/2 ribs, 1/2 bbq chicken...very, very good. Hubby had chicken park...said it was just OK.

Being regular visitors to LBTS we often visit the Village Grille for breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Always had a god meal in the past, but this time were not so impressed. I usually enjoy the oyster Rockerfeller as it is one of the few places that offers it. However on the two occasions I had it the oysters were so... More

Location is perfect as it is just a couple of meters from the beach, and our waiter was nice and friendly but then again, the steak was dry and over cooked, and the salad was just too soggy. And try not to seat at the table close to the bar where people can be rowdy after a couple of pint,... More

Very good food! Location is excellent. Tv's around bar area. Seems to have a separate entrance for the sushi menu, another for separate bar, and another for full restaurant with bar.

We were driving through Lauderdale by the Sea and stopped for lunch. After walking around a bit we chose this restaurant because we wanted to eat outdoors and it looked like the perfect location. The food was very good and service was good enough considering our waitress was also trying to look after some patrons inside. She did the best... More
