We always return to Basilic when we're in the area. Upon arriving, we were told we'd have a 45 min. wait but were seated in about 10 min. We love their spring rolls, the best we've ever had! Chicken curry had an excess of potatoes and liquid. Seafood stir fry was ordered omitting calamari but... read more

First impression was bad, because I thought the smell of the restaurant was gross. The shrimp chips they bring everyone were gross, too, unless you like eating cardboard. We tried both of the sauces on the table with the chips, but they were both too spicy. Good thing their drink Happy Hour lasts until 6pm, because we needed 2/1 drinks... More

My wife & I stumbled upon this little gem about 4 years ago on a vacation north to Ft. Lauderdale (We live in the Keys). I had never had, but always wanted to try Vietnamese food. My wife had had the pleasure of eating Vietnamese while living in Houston & LA, but I was not so lucky. We started with... More

When you arrive they put Shrimp toast on table. I had the Chicken Pho filled w/ noodles & herbs. On the side is bean sprouts & fresh basil leaves, to be torn and placed into your soup with the Bean sprouts$10.50. Geo. had the Grilled a Chicken sandwich $7.50. It came on a nice crunchy bread. You cannot go wrong... More

The Shaking beef is the ticket although the chicken curry is also outstanding. Prices are mid range but excellent value considering the quality. Service is very good with thoughtful considerate recommendations from the staff. Increasing the beer selection would be nice as currently it is very limited.

Four of us had four main dishes. Same for all four.....Lots of rice or noodles....lots of vegetables. Very little of the main ingredient. Very littler steak....very little shrimp..... Not worth going back. Outside seating was lovely. So was Nupray our server. Food was so--so..

There's not much atmosphere in this restaurant with its picture windows view of a busy highway. And the dining room is nothing special. But the food is oh so good. Today I dined on a noodle entrée that came in a bowl. My choice of meat was pieces of chicken breast. This was accompanied by black mushrooms, broccoli, snow peas,... More

We came with friends for a late supper, and had to wait as the few tables were taken. But it was worth it! The BBQ Pork Fried Rice was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Parking is on a side street but easy to find a spot late. Shrimp chips served before dinner - nice and crisp!

My husband was hungry for meat and I wanted vegetables. He loved his pork chops and my soup with spinach, cucumbers and a small amount of beef was really delicious! I've been counting calories and didn't want to veer too far from my eating regimine on vacation. This restaurant offered some good options at reasonable prices.
