This was our first visit. Great atmosphere. Chips are super thin. Comes with three different salsas. Enchiladas come with at least 5 different sauce choices. I had the sour cream. Will definitely go again.

My husband and I went there for a late night small meal and drink. Our waitress was very friendly. We explained we would be ordering lightly, and she was good with that. Great salsas and house margarita; the nachos were just OK. If we were hungrier we certainly would have tried what looked to be a great variety.

We went to Abuelo's in Lakeland, Florida, Friday night. The place was packed with a long waiting line. Obviously, my idea of Tex-Mex food is slightly different because I would not eat there again. It is a nicely decorated average chain restaurant. The meal started with excellent thin chips and three kinds of salsa which tasted very good but were... More

My husband and I dine here whenever we can and absolutely everything is delicious. Our favorite is the Precarious Guerre, which is a seafood dish. If you can sit at the bar and enjoy the A+ service by Carlos, we have been spoiled for sure.We

If I have told my wife once I have told her 100 times. I want to live at Abuelos. I remember when this place was being built and hoping that it was going to be a good place to eat. It has never disappointed me. I have never had a bad meal there. There are 3 things I regularly get... More

I was looking for hard shell tacos, as they were not listed on the menu, the server indicated they were available, So good..and that green tomato/pineapple/cilantro salsa was to die for. Not spicy at all. Give it a try. The only problem was the price of the soft drink I has. I think almost $3 is a little high for... More

Abuelos is a favorite of ours. Have been coming here for years and haven't had a bad meal, always good. They have excellent salsa and queso! Try their fajita tacos.

We chose the restaurant because of it's proximity to our hotel. The service was very good in terms of the server being personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. She did a good job working with my gluten intolerance and brought out specially fried tortillas for me to enjoy the salsas. The portions are quite large and the food is good, but probably... More

Common food you can find just about anywhere. OVER PRICED. The only Mexican restaurant I ever went to that does NOT have common Taco's on the menu. I asked they made them. WORST TACO;s ever ! Go else where, save time and money.
