Description: Welcome to Callaro's Steakhouse in the heart of Downtown Lake Worth!...
Welcome to Callaro's Steakhouse in the heart of Downtown Lake Worth! Located at 717 Lake Avenue, Callaro's is right next door to the Lake Worth Playhouse and is just blocks from the new home of the Palm Beach County Cultural Council. We serve only the very best USDA Prime and Choice cuts of meat, hand selected from the finest corn fed Midwestern beef and the freshest seafood available. Our meats are aged 4 to 5 weeks to ensure tenderness and flavor and filets are center or barrel cut. Callaro's is the brainchild of two great restaurant families- Danny Callaro, longtime owner of the award winning Riggins Crabhouse, and Keith and Beth Scragg. We first opened our doors in Manalapan and enjoyed a 10 year run before deciding to relocate downtown. Since both families live in Lake Worth, the move was a true homecoming. We invested in our future by completely restoring and renovating the former L'Anjou building to reflect its historic roots while updating the decor. The ambience is elegant and hip, but never pretentious. It's a detail that's also reflected in the menu. Dinner entrees range from $10.99 To $46.99. Whether it's just a night on the town or a special occasion, you're sure to find something delectable to suit your palate and your pocketbook.

Well done!

Classic Steak House Menu, nice atmosphere (you can hear - not too loud). Nice meal with efficient service, fresh ingredients. Lamb chops were done perfectly.

We ordered from the First Impressions menu and that’s where the problem with the food might lie. The restaurant is upfront in telling you that they serve USDA Prime and Choice steaks. I think we must of got USDA Select steaks. We ordered lobster bisque, which tasted like a high-sodium out-of-a-can soup with hardly any lobster, then a prime rib... More

The steaks are to die for, the atmosphere is great. The service is commendable and the food as fresh as it gets. This family has a long history of delectable foods served to perfection and reasonably priced. The vegetables are really great many to choose from. Their steaks are from the finest hand cut corn fed mid western beef. Graded... More

The filet mignon was amazing! It fell apart in your mouth. The best I have ever had. Other dishes were just as good. Excellent wine selection as well.

What can I say? When it is good, it is very good. But sometimes you get an off night. Service is always good. Much better for lunch than dinner.

They have about 30 luncheon specials and all are great. They contain sandwiches, soups, salads, quiche, etc, and the largest chef salad I've ever seen. All served with a non-alcoholic drink. Good food and lots of it.

All-inclusive price is unusual for a steakhouse. Food is very good and price is reasonable. Steak is as tasty as meat costing 50% more at other steakhouses.

Steaks are always cooked perfectly. During this dinner, I had the filet and my partner had the delmonico. Both were just as we expected. We sat at the bar for dinner and the service was good. The previous time we sat at a table and the service was very good.

Although the prices are reasonable for steak, you only get what you pay for. The steaks are sub par and I'd rather pay more and have a much better piece of meat elsewhere.

Lake Worth is a quiet town half way between Boca and West Palm that has some interesting treats. One of them is the Lake Worth Playhouse which puts on some good quality off, off broadway musicals and dramas. Next to it is a steak house which we found to be very good. We all ate beef so i cannot comment... More
