Canned soup,($8),frozen filet mignon with frozen potatoes orded medium-rare came out well done ($32);sent back.We then ordered the Lobster Newberg ($42);frozen lobster in canned lobster bisque.the waitress was clueless about the food and the wine and service in a fine restuarant.the place was fithy, covered in old moldy dust.the men'stoilet was over-flowing into the dining room. When I complained, the manager said "Oh,no... more

We returned to Chalet Suzanne for our 5 time and our 24 wedding anniversary and had a very romantic dinner for two. We missed the old potato rolls and thought the food had gone down a notch but we would still come back. We missed the old traditional dishes, why change just for the sake of change? more

Forget the Sunday Brunch. The menu sounded wonderful and at $30/each not ridiculously expensive. However, reality set in when we waited almost 20 minutes just for drinks. The appetizer items were all served family style, but with 8 people at the table there was barely enough for everyone to get a small sample and with the exception of the breads... more

This is one of Florida's hidden treasures! In addition to outstanding service, the food served for brunch was glorious in its presentation, delicious and truly something and everything for everyone. We were fortunate enough to be seated at the windows overlooking the lake where turtles frolicked while we dined. After brunch we toured the gift shop and finished off our... more

This place is falling apart. The drive way has large chuck holes, the inside is in need of repair, the prices are outragous, and the food is not that great. I can make a lot of chicken dinners for the price of one chicken dinner here....$60.00 plus tip. I think a broiled grapefruit is 18.00. Sure a lot of wealthy... more

Over rated and over stated if you look at the web site. You'd be much better off going to a nice hotel/restaurant for the evening (Try the Grand Boheme in downtown Orlando) There is nothing romantic about a lake overlooking manufactured homes and rooms with holes in the floor. This entire property needs Major Renovation. If you happen to be... more

We stayed for one night at the Chalet. The restaurant has friendly, gracious staff serving very good food but quite pricey comparatively. The room, however, was in need of an overhaul. At $189 including breakfast for 2, we didn't want to smell musty odor but the wall unit a/c with duct tape underneath just isn't enuf to counter it. The... more

My wife and I flew into their private runway for dinner on Friday night. The food was simply outstanding. The service was excellent. The restaurant is very cozy and romantic and we both truly enjoyed the experience. Dinner is a six course 2 hour eperience not to be missed. Each course was perfectly prepared and the overall dining experience was... more

We found this place on the internet while visiting the area. It has a beautiful, yet misleading website. We went mostly to check out the landing strip, since my husband is a pilot. We found everything somewhat run down. The service was pleasant but the food was expensive but not so great. We paid $44.00 for a breakfast of fresh... more
