When we are looking for a place for dinner we often select Crazy Fish in Winter Haven. We are never disappointed. Love, love, love the fried spinach. Our selection was the orange roughy and the swordfish. Great selections. Cooked just till tender with seasonal veggies. Wait staff is always fun and friendly. Drinks are reasonable price.

not sure why reviewers think this is such good seafood. Average at best and prices are more than seafood restaurants on the coast. Server (Barbara) was very good and attentive with many returns to our table, but the 4 oz. piece of grouper with crab filling was nothing special. Crab in the stuffing was invisible and at $26.00 should have... More

I'd read the reviews, which is what prompted me to ask our hostess, a Lake Wales resident, to take us there. She had eaten here many times and enjoyed it. We shared the conch fritters--tasty, but the contents could have been cut up a bit more. I ordered a red snapper, broiled, with head on--very flaky, well seasoned, and tasty.... More

We have passed by Crazy Fish many many times on trips to our lake house, but last Friday decided to stop in and I'm so glad we did! My husband had the seared ahi tuna and it was excellent. I had the fried shrimp and they were delicious; the shrimp were large and very flavorful with a very light coating... More

Was exploring the hinterlands between Orlando and Hollywood, Florida and found this gem. Was specifically searching for a non-chain restaurant for lunch. Saw It as I was driving on Rt 60 going up the US 27 overpass. Very pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of our lunch experience. While the name of the restaurant gives away its genre they do... More

We were in Lake Wales last weekend and looking for a place to have lunch. Had read about Crazy Fish. To be honest, if we hadn't read about it not sure we would have stopped. However, this is a "don't judge the book by it's cover". We were pleased that we stopped. Atmosphere interesting, service was very good, and we... More

Hungry. Night falls. Nothing nowhere in sight. Trip Advisor saved me. In all my 26 years here in Florida I have never eaten at a good seafood restaurant. Until now. Crab Fish is great food and more. Macayla the waitress was adorable and extremely pleasant The owners were down to earth and ran this place tip top. Crab Fish is... More

From the outside you could be excused for thinking that this was nothing special but the fish and seafood served compares to restaurants charging twice as much. Service very attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back for more.

To look at the outside, you may not be sure that it is a place you want to go in, but once inside the aroma and staff make you know that you hit upon a local diamond in the rough. The seafood is fantastic. We have had the salmon, shrimp, chowder, hamburgers (hubby says they are the best in Polk... More
