Stopped by to get a sub for dinner. Very bready with not a lot of meet and veggies. So to me it was just an average sub.
I just went there and had the The Super Sub which has Provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo on it. Was not impressed at all, the bread is horrible wheaty and tastes like paper. The meat tasted plain and it was just missing the kick i want in a sub. Firehouse is definitely the place to go for a good sub... More
Jersey Mikes has great subs, the ingredients are fresher than Subway. The meats & cheeses are sliced right in front of you instead of coming out of the back like they would at Subway. The subs are really good, I usually get the tuna or turkey those are my favorites.
This is not a Philly cheese steak this place Sucks over priced and they don't give you any meat in the sandwich, back to Firehouse for me !!!!
When I first decided to check out this new sandwich shop, I was a little hesitant because the line was literally out the door, and I was on my lunch break from work. But, they really surprised me with the quick service, and very friendly staff. Very clean facility, and subs are made fresh to order, with most of the... More
We were able to choose healthy food, the personnel looked a little shabby and were busy watching sports on tv, but one of them helped us very nicely and friendly and was not subtracted...
With all of the other sandwhich shops out there, this one makes hands down the best cheese steak in the state. They always have fresh rolls shipped in from Jersey too which definitely helps. Only complaint is that a large sub combo will set you back $15. Their other subs are supposed to be good too, but i never stray... More
If this is a NJ sub shop, thank God I live in FL. Mystery meats, mealy white bread, limp fixin's, and a Less-than-inspired sandwich prep person all add up to a terrible sandwich. Inedible. Even the grocery store (Publix) next door can make a better sub than this speciality(?) sub shop. NJ: come get your sandwich shop - yuck.
Very good subs. Clean place and fast workers. Don't skimp on the meat. Get sub Mike's way.
Heard they were giving subs away for a contest on the radio. Googled the nearest location and was thrilled. Great bread and meat. Great fixings. Don't know what they do to make it so yummy. Huge line though, which only validated my experience. Keep in mind its a sub shop - way better than Blimpees or Subway
