We were looking for a place that my mother-in-law would enjoy for lunch, and my husband saw the ad in travel literature. Since my mother-in-law is an avid tea drinker, this seemed like a good choice. The ad said to get off I4 at exit 44, but exit 48 is much more direct. When we pulled up out front, we... More

We had read good reviews online, but when we pulled up on a Monday around 1pm, the lot was empty. We hesitated going in….parking lot was a little sloppy and overgrown. So glad we went in. There was only one other table of guests, so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. They sat us near the window... More

I Love to go for High Tea, Something I recently started a few years ago. I like to go somewhere I can wear a hat & gloves, enjoy decadent desserts over and over, eat fresh tasting food, & wander around shopping or taking photos. THIS was the Place! Most reasonably priced HighTea I ever been to. Refills for drinks &... More

Lavender N Lake does not serve afternoon tea every day (which is what we normally would order), but that aside their menu is reminiscent of a British Tea Room. We had the Cottage Pine and the Chicken Puff Pastry, both were very good. The desert selection was in keeping with a British Tea Room and was quite good. Tables are... More

I have visited Lavendar N Lace on several occassions. It is a favorite for Mother's Day with my mom. The staff are very friendly. The food is wonderful. I especially love their quiche! There are small shops there where you can shop before or after eating. It's a wonderful treat, especially for the ladies in the family.

This is what a tea room should be. A lovely old house set in a beautiful environment. I took my daughter and granddaughter to celebrate my granddaughter's 19th birthday. I wasn't sure how she would like it. She loved it! Food, atmosphere and service were all top notch. I had the Chicken Crunch after reding about it on Trip Advisor. It... More

This is a treat place to visit. The food is good but on the high side. You pay for the ambiance! The salmon is not too good and the waitress acutually took it back which was great on her part. They are all very friendly. Nice for a once in awhile visit. Highly suggested that you make reservations. Quiche is... More

My friend, who lives in St. Pete, always treats her visitors to lunch at the Lavender N Lace Tea Room. It is part of the Barn Antiques and the Stable Home Décor. It is a stop you have to make or a short trip while visiting Florida. The menu is varied and includes a wonderful cream based vegetable soup and... More

I took my wife to this restaurant for our 13th Anniversary. The traditional gift is Lace and I found this restaurant based on name but went because of the reviews. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was spectacular, very pretty, dainty and elegant. Just what my wife deserved. The food was so flavorful. It was non traditional fare for us.... More

It is a very cute quiet place. It was a little pricey, but the food was good. Lots of hot tea to pick from. The dessert was very good, I cant remember the last time I had a dessert after lunch. Makes a good date with your chick friends..
