Went shopping at the Loop, wound up eating at the Cocina Latina. Upon entering we were greeted by friendly faces. We clearly saw the foods that were available from behind the glass. Super clean and enticing. Lets just say that I have been there three times in just two weeks. Food is made fresh, we had the stew chicken morro... More

You order your food from the display choices of different rice combinations and sweet plantains and choices of different beef stews or chicken combinations and you get seated anf they get the food to your table. Let me start with the food: Although... More

Both are outstanding, fall apart easily and cooked to perfection. The lunch special is $6.89 and you get a pile of rice (several to choose from) you get... More

My kids claimed to "hate" Cuban food. My husband and I are tired of catering to nuggets and pasta. So we grew a set and marched into Rice and Beans, and we now have two little foodie converts. This place may be good for lunch on the go... I went there on a Sunday there is a sign stating "please wait to be seated" we were waiting while 4 employees were just talking among each other, finally they see us and ask us if we were waiting to be seated (DUH!). We get seated and order right away... More

You have a choice of entrees and sides (thats where the rice and beans come in), cafeteria-style, and the give you a lot of food. I usually skip dinner or bring home the leftovers. I've had both the roast pork and chicken, both excellent. This is... More
