Food delicious, although it was small and crowed. It seemed like a go to place in Marathon :) It was hard to park but if you want good food stop anyway :)

The Wooden Spoon's breakfast is not to be missed! A great selection of fresh cooked food is available. The staff is helpful and friendly. It's a small place with limited seating, but well worth the wait!

This is a great local spot. Nothing fancy, good service in a very busy place, the pancakes were huge and awesome, great biscuits, strong coffee, the best value in Marathon.

When we come to the keys, this is our breakfast spot!! Older building, doesn't look like much, but they have the best breakfast hands down. Friendly staff. Food is always good and consistent!! They did get rid of my favorite homemade bread, but the other ones are just as delicious!!

A really good breakfast should cover the four major food groups: eggs (over medium), bacon (crispy), sausage (pattied), and pancakes (hearty), and that describes the Silver Spoon Special at this friendly roadside breakfast/lunch diner on Highway 1. It is small but friendly. You may have to wait at the door for a table to open up, but it is worth... More

Good breakfast place for the family while visiting the middle keys. The staff is inviting and the food is great. I had the kids begging every morning to go here for breakfast. Try the homemade breads! It is always nice to find a place with good food, good service, and a good price.

You know when the parking lot is full it's good. The food was delicious and quick. I loved all the wooden spoons hanging on the walls.

Got there early on a weekday. I had the 2 egg breakfast with scrapple. Scrapple, as described by our waitress all the leftover scraps of a butchered pig. It was actually very good. One of my guests had the cheeseburger omelet. Filled with hamburger, tomatoes, onion, and cheese. A tasty omelet! My other guest had the pancakes with corned beef... More
