This is an excellent lace for a down home breakfast. Inexpensive and delicious. We always stop here when we visit. The keys.
We stayed one night across the street at Kingsail Motel and went to Wooden Spoon for breakfast. It is very popular so come here early. We ordered and waited about 10 minutes. Breakfast was good, hot and tasty (especially fried potatoes). Coffee was also very good. Great place for breakfast on a go.
and finally made it. Very interesting and with local color. A great place to meet with friends and be able to talk without having to shout. Good food. Great service.
We visited the Wooden Spoon (the first time) on a Friday mid-morning. We walked into the little diner and got a table for 6 right away. There are about 12 tables and a counter. Our waitress was adorable, attentive and full of southern charm. We all ordered off of the giant dry erase board that boasted tons of daily breakfast... More
A favorite with locals and visitors. Omelettes to die for. Crispy bacon is crispy, over-easy is just that. Two incredible, happy, smiling excellent waitresses. I love watching the fast order cook move at 100 miles an hour. Never have to request coffee or water refill.
good old southern cooking with lots of grits and eggs! the staff are wonderful and helpful and the portions are huge!!!! Went there every day that we were in Florida
Great breakfast Love all the spoons. Local crowd knows where to eat I had an omlet. My husband had biscuits Definitely a go to place.
My husband LOVED his food and I really liked mine. We would have gone back if we had been staying in the area longer. Good prices. Don't go if you can't handle a little dirt. Other reviewers are telling the truth about a dirty floor, dirty window sill and there was a hair on the honey bottle. This wasn't enough... More
Great Food - It was very crowded, people waiting for tables, even sitting with strangers! Hustle & bustle, a bit noisy, but fun! Service was very quick and friendly. Only whole milk, no 2%, but a big glass! Pancakes were the best I have had in many years.
This definitely feels like a local's joint as it was very popular. Our breakfasts were huge, and good. There's nothing for the foodie here, but just plain old breakfast. Coffee was good. Service was fast and friendly.
