Great happy hour!

The Hurricane Grill has a great happy hour. Most end at 5 or 6, theirs starts at 6. Beer was cold, drinks strong and good service. Seems like a locals bar so you know if the locals go, it's good. I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food though it appeared they had some great specials.

We (a family of 4) went to the Hurricane Grill for dinner on the advise of a local. There was music in the bar section, so we grabbed a table there. A waitress let us know that no children were allowed in the bar area, and the table next to us (with children) was allowed as an exception because they... More

They have a large selection of lunches for only $5. We go most Fridays when we are in town. I get the meatball sub and my wife gets a fish sandwich. Last week I took a friend who actually got a rare burger for $6 and I spent $7 for ribs that were meaty, tasty, and fel off the bone.... More

I always think of the Hurricane as a dive bar, but they have lunch specials for $5 or $6 that are quite good. I almost always get the Thai Stir Fry; bits of chicken, slivers of onion, green pepper, and red cabbage in a coconut sauce. Red pepper flakes give it a little kick. You can eat inside or out... We stayed at the Blackfin Resort which was very good for the pric. The on site restaurant (Hurricane Grille) used to be "a happening place" when we spent some time in Marathon in the mid-late 90's. I don't think they spent any money on maintenace since. Pretty cruddy - partcularly the rear outdoor deck. Foo was OK.

After driving by this place several times we decided to try it out. Once inside we were glad to see they had live entertainment. The place was busy and lively more of a younger crowd the food was ok and the drinks were good and a nice selection of beer. We went there a second night and had another enjoyable... More

Three of us had a 1/2 off coupon, spend $50 get $25 off and we had a ball. We started with the mozzarella sticks and crab stuffed mushrooms, Yummy! Vern and our friend had the French Onion soup and I had the soup of the day, a crab soup in white sauce, both types were exceptional. For dinner there was... More

i had a Cuban sandwich that was real good, my wife had a chicken salad that was good. The service was very good, quick, and very friendly. Now the bad part ... The outside deck is a mess, leaves and stuff everywhere, the tables are all beyond shot! Immediately after sitting down in the $2 Walmart plastic chairs, I knew... More

OK, first things first. If you're looking for a nightclub atmosphere and 5 star service this is NOT the place to go to. Having said that, if your looking for a hole in the wall neighborhood bar to hang out, have some drinks, and enjoy the free entertainment of local bands, then this is the place for you. What makes... Friends took us here. Hard to find but worth it. Good Happy Hour food and drink specials. Adequate parking.
