You can choose to sit inside, on the front patio or by the canal. There were many people on the front patio & inside. We chose to sit by the canal for lunch & we were the only ones on that side of the building. It was really neat having lunch at a restaurant without anyone else around. Originally we... More

The place is a but cheaply done but the food music & service make up for it! The honey buns are to die for and all the sushi was great ! The waitress was the best we have had our entire trip! Very knowledgable & great recommendations

Very disappointing. Fish was way over cooked, dry and nasty. Way over priced for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Only positive was the bread and our waitress.

We came in Friday Sept 5th. We have been here numerous times over the years. One good feeling was that the hostess must have been there for a while as she recognized us from our past visits! She has an awesome memory as we came last year for my husband’s bday and she shocked me by remembering it was his... More

A little tough to find, but one of our best meals of the week. Fantastic Coconut shrimp ( ask for sauce on side, otherwise you may find it to be too sweet). Very friendly staff and great service. My son wasn't crazy about the lion fish tacos, but the rest of our food was delicious.

The Bread was unique and delicious! The Stuffed Hogfish was one of the best fish dishes I have eaten. Our server was a sweet gal (even tho a USF fan) that made excellent recommendations. Fun place off the beaten path.

This place is good too but I thought dinner was pricey. We did love the fresh Mahi Mahi the night we went there. We sat outside on the dock, but there is live music in the front. Not much scenery here, but a pleasant atmosphere. The salad seemed old and not as fresh as the seafood.

Don't be fooled by the location or the appearance, this is a fantastic sushi place! We sat outside and only had sushi, but it was some of the best sushi we've ever had. A great selection, very reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. Very worth of its rating.

My husband and I vacationed in the Keys this past month and really enjoyed eating at Castaways! The food was great and offers an interesting break from mainstream cuisine with original choices to choose from. The service was great and full of nice honest people--my husband left the car lights on and the doors unlocked and the valet turned them... More

First, the restaurant is located in a not desirable part of town. Our first look at the place and we weren't sure if we wanted to eat there. Once we got inside we we were pleasantly surprised. The waitress was great! We had fast service. The food was very good ! We will go back again!!
