I will never pass through Marathon without eating here. It is a tiny place that only serves the freshest and best local food. This place has superb food!

While visiting Marathon, we visited Fish Tales; I had a shrimp and crab salad. It was a delightfully light choice. Services was very good.
This is most defiantly my favorite place to have lunch here in Marathon. The service and food are always Fantastic. Ask any local on the Island and they all love this place. Always order off the daily specials, but you have to go early because they run out sometimes. No worries though, the menu here always has great items for...

Went with a group of eight just before closing time. Everyone was very happy with the food. I had the hogfish platter and the fish was perfectly done. Light and moist. Fries were ok. Conch fritter were a little over cooked but the fried green tomatoes were very good.
I had the best meal there. Fish tacos oriental style. They were excellent! Everything we have ever had at Fish Tales has always been excellent.
Ate twice at Fish Tales last week after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We had the broiled catch of the day(Mahi-Mahi) and the coconut shrimp with new potatoes and coleslaw. Both were excellent. I don't normally eat coleslaw, but this was the best I have ever eaten. Plenty of potatoes too. Waitstaff refilled drinks when they were only any inch...

Wife had the grouper platter. The grouper was somewhat larger than nugget size, battered and fried perfectly - moist and tasty . And it was REAL grouper. So many places serve fish, whether its grouper, hogfish, mahi-mahi or whatever and it is anything but the advertised fish. I had the "Johnny's Rambler" and it was delicious. My son had the burger...

We were driving around Marathon looking for a place to eat. Glad we found this little place. It was cool and clean and had tasty seafood wraps and sandwiches- perfect for lunch. We both had a wrap with grouper and zucchini with a just right sauce.
My wife and I stopped on the way to key west. we read the great reviews and had to try it. It's a typical seafood market/restaurant. My wife ordered the fish tacos and I had coconut shrimp. Both were excellent the wait staff were very friendly and efficient. The ginger-curry sauce they serve with the entrees was great. Good food,...

Ate here on a recent trip to the Keys and it was fabulous! Don't let the outside fool you! The food was excellent and the staff wonderful. Would highly recommend for a casual meal. Good food and great price!
