We both had grilled dolphin and it was one of the best fish dishes we have ever eaten. The sides were also excellent. The restaurant closes at 6:30 PM so get there early. Not to be missed.

Wow, what a treat. We had blackened mahi plate. Yummy. My hubby complains about everything but not this lunch. Keep up the great food. Definitely number one in Marathon.

Excellent family run seafood spot. Excellent service - they really care and we were checked in on by a few different people, a couple of whom were clearly owners. Not much to look at (but the good places in the Keys usually aren't). Everything we had was fantastic - husband had blackened catch of the day, I had fried dolphin... More

Yoiu don't want to miss it. Heading north on US1, just as you're leaving Marathon, on the right hand side of the road, before the Vaca Key Bridge. Get a taste of the Keys, and you can take fresh seafood with you. Great selection of fresh fish, Key West pink shrimps (no dip) stone crabs in season, and a great... More

we had mahi-mahi here and it was delicious. one of the best meals we had while in duck key and marathon. the best cole slaw ever. the restaurant is nothing special, old and worn but the food made up for it. the prices were the best we found also.

I make sure that I stop and get my fix of buffalo shrimp and the German Fish sandwich every time I down in the keys on business! I absolutely love this place, the staff there treats everyone like family. I have not tried anything there that I didn't like, and seriously suggest that you take a trip and try it... More

We are regular spring breakers at the outer banks of North Carolina. We stopped here because it reminded us if a place up there. Fast service. Modestly priced. Just what we needed for a lunch break. Very mom/pop feeling. But, that's what we like. Those who gave it a bad review must be used to 'classier joints.'

Got the takeout version of scallops, catch of the day, calamari, couch and lobster bisque soups with fries. I don't know how this place gets any ranking at all. To say every aspect of this $ 50.00 food order was sub-par would be doing a disservice to that dual word term. I really don't know how they can let this... More

After a very pleasurable day at the beach, my husband and I decided to get take out from Fish Tales based on the positive reviews. I can only conclude that previous diners must have visited another Fish Tales. Everything, yes everything we ordered, was horrible. Conch chowder was mostly vegetables...no conch. Lobster bisque was thick and tasted like flour. Calamari... More

Fish Tales Market & Eatery is located immediately south of the Vaca Key Bridge, and on the Atlantic side of Highway 1. Ok, take a look at the TripAdvisor photo.
