The original definition of a restaurant used to be: owners cooking for their guests and extending the personal touch to their time at the joint, serving great food, wines and having personal conversations, time allowing. That's why they come back! And that's what we attempt to do every evening that we serve dinner. Our great servers get to know you and handle the conversation when we are frankly too busy to leave the kitchen at times. After 21 years of service, I think we are going to make it!! Thank you to all that have graced our little spot over years, thanks a million!! Lance and Jan Hill, Chefs/Owners (and by the way, we love kids, have a few of our own, and provide a special menu just for them!) Please check Victoria Shearer's new book that just came out: Florida Keys & Key West Chef's Table, to grab a recipe or two :) Our menu is updated and printed daily.

Wonderful is all I can say.

Best yet. Service the top. Food served fast and hot. We all were impressed and will go back. Crispy Duck is very good and would recommend it.

We had a couple of expensive-ish meals in Marathon, but I preferred the meal I had at the Barracuda. They have an interesting and colorful menu, relaxed atmosphere, and terrific staff (thank you Katia!). I had the hogfish, which was perfectly cooked and spiced. Terrific smashed potatoes and asparagus accompanied it. They picked a nice Pinot Grigio for us. The... More

The food here was all quite tasty. Had the calamari and shrimp appetizer. As advertised, it was spicy, which we all liked. It is served in a sauce, not fried. The flavors were great. Would like to know how it is made. Also, had the dumplings, very good. Salads tasted and looked good. My boys had Hogfish. Everyone agreed it... More

My with and I make it a goal to eat here at least once everytime we visit Marathon, which is once a year... This time it's the same old story with this place.....great food, great service and a fine appreciation of your patronage from the owner. Some might say the menu is a little pricy. But hey.....the unique, high quality... More

Visited Marathon on vacation and scoured for must see restaurants. This was definitely what we were hoping for. The restaurant is only open for 2 hours and do not take reservations. We were a party of 6 adults and 1 child so we arrived 5 minutes early. Prices are on the higher end however portions are immense. The $20 lobster... More

Second time here in a long time but it was everything we remembered . This is in my opinion the best food in Marathon , pricey but well worth the money. Danielle was a wonderful server and the food was superb . The escargot appetizer is a must and the Hogfish in lemon wine reduction was exquisite . The grilled... More
