King's is a great place to stop in Marathon. Atmosphere is casual, order at counter and take your number but service is still checking on you. Menu is exactly what you'd expect from a Seafood market with a few Cuban type twists. Excellent Blackened Shrimp! Fries were very good.

Atmosphere is simply done. The food was excellent. The plaintains were delicious. Lobster Enchilado was excellent - would be delicious over pasta as it had a creole sauce (besides the onions, garlic, tomatoes and bell peppers).

I don't get the good previous reviews, which caused us to come here for dinner. Our fish was dry and tasteless, blah atmosphere, mediocre service. Don't waste your time and money.

Fabulous seafood and cuban cuisine! Fresh, delicious, quick and friendly service. Very reasonably priced. Does not feel touristy. Family owned and run. Homemade feeling in every dish. We are here for less than a week and already visited them twice! Okay, so here is what we loved (so far, because we will probably go back again!) Husband had skirt steak... More

The shrimp cocktail, conch fritters, minute (fried red snapper), grilled grouper, cole slaw, tostones, key lime pie and flan were all outstanding: fresh, well-prepared and tasty. At $25 a person, the value was excellent also. Unassuming and small restaurant.

King Seafood is different. You walk in, look at a menu and place your order with the co-owner (wife of other co-owner) then you take a seat. The chef, the other co-owner, prepares your order which he and his family caught that morning out in the sea. The waitress, their daughter, brings you your food. A simple, family owned Keys... More

We chose this place after driving around without a plan, and one of the teens in the car found it with his phone app. Said it had 4 stars, so we decided to try it. Walked in, were given menus and told to sit where we wanted and decide what to order then return to the counter to order. Well,... More

My husband and I were with a senior tour group traveling to Key West. We stopped at King Seafood for lunch and had the best food ever. I ordered the fried lobster sandwich $10.95 thinking it was one of those Maine lobster salad sandwiches which are delicious. Well, this was nothing like it but was probably better than those in... Our kayaking guide recommended this place for lunch. It definitely was the cheapest place we ate in the Keys: $45 for 3 of us. Fish sandwiches were good, my son liked the shrimp quesidea. French fries were just OK. Not a bad place to stop but not getting a return visit.
