We were returning from a drive down to Key West and wanted to get something to eat. We had eaten at the Lazy days in Islamorada a few years ago and decided that we would find the location in Marathon. We decided to eat inside as it was pretty hot and it didn't look like there was much shade on... More

Don't understand negative reviews. Lazy Days South has Great view of the Atlantic. Many options in menu. Crabmeat stuffed whole yellowtail was fantastic. Could not finish. My wife had the delicious fried seafood platter. Also could not finish. Other couple had the hog fish and fried, coconut shrimp. Both dishes were huge and delicious. Unfortunately I forgot our server's name.... More

Stopped in and wife had an amazing shrimp cocktail. Great wine and right on the water. Margaritas good as well. Great romantic spot on the water with a relaxing ambiance.

I am a local who lives in Marathon and I have always loved this restaurant, but something has changed. I have heard other locals saying the service was terrible, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. My husband and I took a friend that was visiting for dinner there last night. We arrived at 7:30PM and was seated immediately... More

Hard to find a better Oceanside spot to chill after an awesome day in the Keys than LDS. Feasted on great food in a relaxed atmosphere while watching the sun sink into the rest of the world. Cool breezes, tiki torches and quiet island music. LDS isn't a party palace so if that's what you need, don't come here, but... More

Let's start with the killer location right on the ocean. Then, let's move on to the amazing fresh catches served any way you want. Generous drinks. Fun, professional, well-organized staff. Although we didn't partake of this service... they will cook your fresh catch for you. Awesome restaurant.

Food was marginal, conch fritters were burned and it was pricey. Take out at 8:30 and didn't find out until got back to the room

Looking for local casual dining and liked the look of Lazy Days South. The setting is beautiful with great ocean views, but it ends there. The food was luke warm, felt pre-cooked and was a great disappointment. Found much better restaurants in the Middle Keys, where the food was the priority.

Great place to sit down, relax and enjoy some good food and great atmosphere. Our family ate here for lunch. The food was good and our server was awesome!

I went based on the reviews I read on Tripadvisor. We went for the whole fried fish, but they were out. They tried to make it right with a filet, we asked for little or no breading, and it arrived with more panko breadcrumbs than fish. The table next to us had waited over 45 minutes for their dinner and... More
