Very pricey

We had a party of 8 for dinner. Ordered 1 bottle of plum wine, 2 appetizer orders for the table to share as well as our dinners. The tab came to $400!!! Service was excellent, the food was good (only one of us ate sushi) but definitely not worth the tab.

The service was excellent, and the food was very good but too pricey. We love sushi and this was good quality but we've had sushi that was the same quality and better and we didn't spend nearly as much. The décor was nothing special, the interior and exterior could definitely use a face-lift. It could be pricey because it's in... More

Food was amazing and sushi best I ever had. My husband is not a big sushi fan we were concerned that there would not be anything for him but there was more than plenty other items for him to eat. The portions were sizable. Saki was was very good. Service was ok - opportunity for improvement

We stopped here because sushi is a favorite but they do quite a lot more. Started with a tuna roll, very fresh & good, had a fresh fish trio: Mahi, grouper & hogfish, each prepared a different way. It was very good! The price reflects the area and key ingredients: fish entrees around 30$. We sat on the deck and... More

Went on a Tuesday night. I had the 12 piece nigiri. Husband had wahoo which he said was extremely good. Had saki which the waiter recommended and it was very good. While we were there, a manager type came over to ask how our meal was. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. When we came in we were seated... More

This was our first time to Kaiyo and we shared the stuffed avacoda, tuna squared, and clams and mussels. The tuna in the rolls was so good and the sauce with the clams and mussels was to die for. Service was excellent - fast and attentive. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommended.

Both times dinning here we have had horrible service the second we walked in the door. Our first visit, it was just 3 of us, the restaurant was completely empty. The guy at the door/ manager kept looking around and said well we could seat you at the earliest 9pm. Hello the restaurant was empty and it was 5:30pm. Finally... More

Thank you for responding with this review. At 5:15 two people arrived stating they were to be 7 people the rest of the party were right behind them, at 5:30 pm I asked if the remainder of their party was on their way as we had a reservation for those tables. They remarked they are around the corner. At 5:45... More

Great service, fantastic varied menu, both sushi and Asian fusion fish. Lovely setting outdoors. Reasonably priced and within walking distance of the Guy Harvey resort.

I ate here in 2014 and really liked it. This year my wood grilled triple tail was over salted and over cooked. Brussel sprouts were supposed to be wood grilled but were not.

Very fresh. Large portions for a sushi place I thought. Nigri plate was very good. Rolls were very good and generous. My non sushi girl loved her steak
