Kayio is BY FAR my most favorite restaurant in Islamorada. The sushi is amazing and the option to try something different is always there! Even our 9yr old loves it when we say we're going to Kayio for dinner!! When we don't have our daughter we belly up to the bar with the bartender Merit. It is SO much fun!!

We decided to eat here our last night in town. It was out of this world. The entire meal was delicious - from the appetizer to dessert. I would go back just to have the mussels again! Seriously they were that good. Everything cooked perfectly and the sushi was fresh with a little twist. Quite a different menu.... Something for... More

Fresh everything. It's the sister restaurant to The Green Turtle, which is also great....go with the steak at Green Turtle and seafood at Kaiyo.

Visited on September 6th. The food was delicious. Jeff was the waiter and the service was excellent. The sushi bar and decor were great. The filet was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Islamorada roll and drunken scallops were also A+ Don't miss out on this restaurant and the best bread pudding.

Great menu, the food was fantastic we ate there twice during our stay. The Sushi is very good with there own "Keys" twist and they had very unique flavors and preparation of the food and we really liked it.

My husband and I went here for dinner on the suggestion of some friends that had visited Islamorada a few months prior. It was fantastic! My hubby got the macadamia nut crusted hogfish sushi roll and the mount fuji sushi roll. He preferred the mount fuji. I got the wood grilled octopus and the soup of the day: snapper chowder.... More

When Kaiyo first opened, I thought it was the best sushi restaurant in South Florida. That was many moons ago. After going last time, I thought the food was good but not great, and prices have become too high - they also removed some of their best selling items (grouper fingers, fried spinach...), they were not overly accommodating. Their sushi... More
