Great food, great atmosphere, great service.

Came in with 11 people, no reservation. Only waited 10 minutes and we were in! Hostess was so nice and checked on us often. Beth, our server was the best! Great with the my in-laws, my kids and their friends. I had the Mahi Hirosa-style (rec from Beth). Spot on awesome. Two of our guests also... read more

Went here for the first time tonight and was very impressed. The decor is very nice, not an overly big place, very small and quaint. Many specials and everything that we had was very good. We tried to fish special which was 3 different types of fished prepared 3 different ways. We also had the baby back ribs and everything... More

Ate here on vacation for our last meal in town. The menu was diverse, and we ordered sushi, cooked fish, beef, and scallops. Everyone enjoyed their food, and all plates were cleaned. Note: the kitchen made a mistake on a couple of the entrees, but it was resolved quickly with zeal by the service staff. The chef even came out... More

Kaiyo is a gem in the middle Florida Keys, and I can recommend it if your taste is for largely asian fusion food. We had a good tuna tartar as appetizer as well as a cesar salad topped with anchovies, good, but not exceptional for the price. Main course was Drunken scallops, very well prepared and cooked to perfection and... More

Wonderful family dinner. We brought our fresh caught tuna to be prepared. Best I've ever had. The pork dumplings and tuna squared apps were out of this world. They had a bone in ribeye on special which was more than enough for two. Great steak considering this is a sushi place. Grilled the meat over a wood fire.

Fantastic food only made better yet by waitress Beth from Boston. She is fantastic with people. We had the Hogfish and caramel cheesecake for dessert.

We ended up dining here in part just for a different meal. Much of the Keys feels like fried fish or American fare, this is just a little bit different. While I was not sure about our choice initially, it was a great choice. One of the best parts about was how welcoming and casual everything was. There were some... More

On our first visit to the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by our waitress from Massachusetts! I regret I cannot remember her name. She served us with great spunk and offered suggestions to help us choose our meals! Son and his girlfriend enjoyed some wonderful sushi! I enjoyed the house appetizer and the ginger salad. My husband enjoyed a delicious... More

My husband and I had dinner here after recommendation from Jacob at Pines and Palms. We sat outside the deck. It was a beautiful night. My husband had the sushi and I had the fresh catch. We had the grouper cheeks and their house salad for appetizer. It was all amazing. It is a must if you are in Islamorada.
