Really well done. Not cheap. The rolls are fairly expensive particularly given the size; I had a standard roll and it was not of standard size (maybe a smidge smaller) but very good. The nigiri was also cut, I felt, smaller than average but not so small that I felt I was being taken advantage of. When we went, somehow... More

As a local, Kaiyo is our favorite. Sushi, sashimi, rolls, it's all fresh and prepared to your liking. The steamed pork dumplings are amazing as a small meal or appetizer for two. And save room for dessert because the bread pudding is the best ever!

Disorganized and disappointing. We were essentially left standing at the doorway awhile as the host tried to corroborate our reservation. We instead left and had a great dinner at Ziggie's down the road.

Dear Big Disappointment I apologize for the mishap you had at our Kaiyo Grill location. I would love to make it up to you at some point in the future. Our staff is well trained and very friendly but we do make mistakes from time to time. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you Chris Frank More

Very good and high grade food-so they said. Salads were ok. Her meal was very good, mine not so much. Fresh tuna cooked med rare should have some firmness and taste a little like the sea, this was mushyand bland, certainly not the best i' d had.

hen when it's come to our entree, it was extremely slow service. Took more than 30 mins to serve the food. Didn't warn us earlier that would be this long. I ordered Armando roll. It's tastes with eel sauce was ok. But this food was standing on the sushi bar too long. The seaweed was wet and really hard to... More

My husband and I found seats at the bar right in front of Chef Emilio and "Chef Junior San" and loved them from the get-go. They were friendly and fun and had much to tell about the specials, we decided to try an app special, miso soup, the stuffed avocado and the tuna squared roll. EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL. The freshness... More

Kayio is BY FAR my most favorite restaurant in Islamorada. The sushi is amazing and the option to try something different is always there! Even our 9yr old loves it when we say we're going to Kayio for dinner!! When we don't have our daughter we belly up to the bar with the bartender Merit. It is SO much fun!!
