The open area was enclosed by 'tarps' but it didn't stop some of the people smoking and spoiling it for the rest of us. We just had to leave. More

For starters we had Mussels and Clams Fra Diavlo and the "Lobstergot," lobster served escargot-style. The mussels and clams were good but the lobster was way overcooked. My husband's Wasabi Tuna, ordered medium rare, was barely pink at the center but what really made it hard to eat was the excessive amount of sauce poured over it. My yellowtail snapper... More

Location isn't the greatest - no water views but you forget all about that when you eat the food. We took my husband's fresh catch there to be prepared and the Sesame Tuna was one the best things we have ever eaten. We still can't stop talking about it. You could even taste the freshness in the potatoes and vegetables.... More

Love the mussels! The atmosphere is super! We ate outside one night & it was perfect weather. The bartender knew some magic & was very entertaining. Love this place! More

Went to uncles with some friends recently. The place has been around for years so we assumed it was good. The evening started off with what appeared to be a great wine list, several French Bordeaux at reasonable prices. We ordered a St.Julien which turned out great, once the staff was able to find the bottle, which took a while.... More

Stayed at a nearby resort, and liked that Uncle's was within easy walking distance. I ordered, but ended up not eating, the worst conch chowder ever. It looked like chili: thick, grainy/lumpy, dark red- brown in color, without rhe faintest taste or aroma of seafood of any kind. Mainly because of an overpowering taste of something (cumin?), I actually thought... More

Had rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding at Uncle's. I wanted everything to be just right. After many changes I asked Jackie and Joe to set up and serve the appetizers the way they believed would work best. They did an awesome job The food was fantastic and the service was awesome. More

Well, the Florida Keys...no surprise to get exceptional seafood, nevertheless, never take it for granted. We had dinner at Uncles and the Muttonhead snapper was still jumping! My husband had a seafood & pasta dish with scallops & "pink gold" in a light cream sauce that he really enjoyed after a day of fishing. Our friends liked their dinners too,... More
