This place was o.k. The shrimp and snow crab was good but not fresh. The rest of the buffet looked like frozen tv diner food. The bathrooms smelled like fecal matter. Probably due to the fact the garbage cans in the stalls were full of used toilet paper. The staff was pleasant but not much to look at....in fact a... more

I don't like buffets at all so I was actually pleasantly surprised that the food was mostly edible and some actually good. The rest of my family like the crab legs and they were pretty good. I wouldn't recommend it but it wasn't as bad as I expected. more

My wife and I waisted our money by going to this restaurant. As we were being seated, I saw a fly walking on the roast beef on the buffet. I told the man showing us to our table and he did nothing. I didn't get any of the food that I had seen the fly on . Maybe it would... more

My wife and I dined there and had a very nice meal. The price was right as well. We stayed next door at Holiday Isle and another couple recommended this restaurant. We are glad we went. We do not like buffets. This place had the freshest items, especially the seafood. I must have eaten 3 baskets of snow crabs (steamed,... more

This place is AWFUL. We decided to try it because it looked like a great location-And it is, right off the ocean with a great view. Beautiful. We were staying in Key West and while driving through this area we decided to eat at Whale Harbor on the way back. We looked it up in the phone book and said... more

My husband and I were headed home to Orlando, FL from Key West, FL over Easter weekend. We left Key West and by the time we hit Islamorada we were HUNGRY! We stayed last Father's Day on Islamorada, but didnt try this restaurant (I think it is also called Wahoo's or something??) Anyways, we decided to try this past weekend.... more

Very interesting (and accurate) comments. From 1987 thru the late 1990s, I had been a "Whale Harbor" April "regular", eating there at least once, and sometimes twice during my weekly dive trip sojourns. I knew "Buddy" who's been there for years, and also the then owner (also of the Green Turtle) down the road, and a well-know figure, magician, etc.... more

We were actually warned by locals not to bother, but we went anyway. Food was average. Selection was limited and price was way to high for the quality. Service was good, no complaints there. Send people you don't like here to keep them out of the good restaurants. more

I've never eaten at the restaurant, but my husband and I enjoy the second-story bar overlooking the marina. On the evening we spent there in December, we enjoyed some drinks and appetizers. The conch fritters were just okay - heavily coated deep fried little things, but the winner was the grouper sliders. They did slide down our throats because they... more

My wife and friends/family have been eating there for a number of years, given the nature of the keys environment, not a bad experience, just an on going issue with the attendant that steams the crab legs (which i love-and make the special trip for), this person always seem to be in a bad mood, does not speak English, just... more
