Very chilled

Fantastic location, right on the beach. Just as the name suggests right on mile marker 88. Really easy to get to, but usually busy, and parking sometimes a problem. Super food great cocktails, but slightly pricey. Would recommend it. Especially the coconut shrimp.

Good food and service. Beautiful setting. Very family friendly, but also seemed like it had a nice bar for grown-ups. Will be back.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere! What more do you want? We didn't have reservations so we ate at the bar and it was great and there was musical entertainment. Staff is attentive, our food came out quickly and hot and was very good. We missed the sunset but you are right on the beach!

They cooked up our fresh caught fish and it was delicious. Great staff. Plenty of outdoor seating. Live music. Go at sunset and enjoy the spectacular views. They do have seating that is basically like a bench on a swing...we didn't sit there as our group was too big, but it looked like fun.

We went to Market 88 twice during our recent 4-day stay in Tavernier because it was that special. It has beautiful sunset views and is the perfect place for an evening cocktail. Dinner was equally delicious and they were very accommodating of our 5-year-old son. We will be back!

We ate here in 2011 and returned on our visit in February 2015 because of our good past experience. They now have a separate gluten free menu and as another reviewer posted, they use rice flour on their fish, fries, etc so "every one is eating gluten free and they don't even know it". My son was thrilled to actually... More

We had drinks and the Seared Tuna appetizer special at the bar on the beach. Nice sunset view, friendly staff, good food. Prices commensurate with the locale. Cool evening so they had a heater on. Nice live music. Not too many people there this evening, I am sure due to the cool weather.

Recommended to eat at the bay side, excellent views which must be even better at sunset. The food, considering how expensive it is, must be considered average to mediocre. Only dish we found outstanding? the key lime pie.

Right on the beautiful waters of Islamorada (one of our new favorite places on this wonderful planet) sits Marker 88 - a restaurant, beach, tiki bar, and mile marker location is nothing short of luxury. We ordered their Blood Orange Margarita and a Watermelon and Mint Mojito, both were refreshing, fresh and tasty. Their staff was friendly and attentive, but... More

We chose this restaurant because it was on the water. It was an on-the-fly choice, so we did not have reservations. We were fortunate because it was just prior to sunset and we got a table with a great view, even though we didn't have reservations. There appeared to be plenty of seating in the dining room, but it was... More
