We read mixed reviews prior to dining, and should have listened to the bad ones. We had 8:15 dinner reservations for a party of 5. Everything seemed great for the first hour through our salads course, and then we waited another hour for our entrees. It took over 2 hours to receive them. This was not a long leisurely meal,... The chefs at Cheeca are talented. Everything we ate at Atlantic's Edge was delicious. The lobster grilled cheese was one of the best things I have ever eaten! Sweet, tender lobster meat, rich, gooey brie on lightly buttered sour dough bread -- simply divine!

Atlantic's Edge is just that - fine dining (even on the sand if you like) right there by the ocean. Food was quite good. The whole snapper for dinner and the shrimp "burger" for lunch are great choices. The hostess situation kind of "ruined" our joy. Not sure if they change procedures during the off season, but announcing our name... More

Atlantic's Edge is a little plusher than most of the fish joints in Islamorada. It's located in the beautiful Cheeca Lodge & Spa, and you can dine outside or in. The ocean is visible from both, but neither seating area is directly on the beach. The food is sourced locally, prepared well, and you can count on a great dinner.... More

Very nice cuisine but definitely on the pricey end. The steaks were excellent and the service was very good. Being July it was very humid and the outdoor seating could use some additional fans. Our server was very helpful giving us great info on the surrounding area. Ate breakfast here too and all the dishes were good.

The outdoor dining was nice but our salads had too much dressing on them and our main entrees were "OK". I would recommend going to one of the higher rated restaurants off property.

“EXPENSIVE - the service SHOULD match the price but it does NOT JACK was our server - spent $250+ on what was supposed to be a "special birthday dinner" He ignored ME for some reason for over 1/2 of our meal - speaking only to my dining companion, never once asking me how my food was, if I wanted a... Enjoyed our July 4th dinner on the beach watching the fireworks! We love Atlantic's Edge for their food and gorgeous views. Had a 7:30pm reservation so we were able to enjoy the sunset and the perfect water view as this restaurant sits almost on the beach. Typically the service is great - not so this time. Server was slow and... More

We stayed at Cheeca for 5 nights and nearly ate every meal at Atlantic's Edge. Their food choices are not terribly expanse but when you are vacation in the Keys, it's seafood all the time anyway. The service is great, they really cater to your every need. If you don't see it, they will get it for you. The waitstaff... More
