Lunch with a view

We ate here for lunch and the lobster quesadilla was outstanding. They make a fabulous Margarhita but I recommend you order it 1/2 sweet as they can be a tad heavy handed with the sugar.

This was at the very upscale Cheeca Lodge and it was lovely. I had the $22 seafood pasta and it was excellent. Had conch appetizer . The Hummingbird cake was big and there were others that I would order nest time.

Rating = Go It's not often that I stay at a resort and enjoy great meals like I did at Atlantic's Edge. From Divers Scallops to steak to cooking up my own catch, everything was top notch. On the expensive side, it's worth it if you're looking for a special meal.

We just arrived at the Cheeca resort in Islamorada and tried the restaurant in the hotel. Just a short walk from our room. We were greeted and seated a a beautiful table facing the ocean. We both ordered margaritas to start. They were good. We then had conch soup and ceviche. Both excellent choices. I had seafood pasta and my... More

This is at Cheeca Lodge. So right away, you know nothing will be cheap. We expected that. At first, I was a little disappointed that they didn't have a lot of local fish. In fact local fish seems to be lacking in the Keys - Mahi Mahi isn't exactly what I call local fish specific to this area. So the... More

Nice outdoor seating next to the beach area, and the cocktail and wine selection was good. We enjoyed our dinner.

We stopped here for lunch on our way down to Key West. We had a delicious meal and certainly got in the Keys mood while eating here. The only complaint I have is the service, but when you're enjoying the surrounding setting (as you should!) that isn't a problem. I would definitely recommend!

We had dinner at this location in the outside part of the restaurant. The weather was too nice to sit inside. It is on the patio near the ocean and it is busy so reservations are really needed. We had mixed green salad, baby romaine salad, new York strip with Yukon puree and the whole snapper. All of the food... More

Had booked, but waited ages to be seated. Setting not great and we got a bad table right at the back. Service not good. Steak cost a fortune but poor quality and badly cooked. Overall, a bad experience and we felt we'd been charged a lot for very little - very much in keeping withe standards of the Cheeca Lodge... More

This is an update to my December 2014, review which is in stark contrast to what my husband and I experienced this week. Let me preface by saying that Cheeca is a beautiful property and has a beautiful view. Although, you can see signs of wear. We dined at Atlantic Edge on 3/3/15, with a reservation. Although the inside dining... More
