One of my co-workers went to this restaurant for brunch with his wife and raved about the food and the service. She found it on Yelp and based on the reviews decided to try it. The food was amazing. My husband had the hogfish and it was fantastic. Everything we ordered was great. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and... More

We are probably the only people who don't rave about this place. We loved the location and atmosphere and menu, but just thought the meal was bland. We both ordered a different fish selection and tried them prepared two different ways and took their recommendations on preparation, but thought not much flavor or originality. The fish and vegetables were fresh,... More

We planned a long weekend in Islamorada to celebrate my wife's birthday and I picked this restaurant as the highlight of our stay based on Tripadvisor's # 1 rating. I sent an email inquiring about reservations but never received an answer. I then called about a week prior to the birthday and was told by a female the restaurant does... More

It's not in my habit to write a negative review. Either I like a place and am happy to share it with others or I don't like it and don't want to influence others with what can be my own taste. However, I did not like this place much and want to tell why. My wife and I wanted to... More

Great food, great service. All of the staff were wonderful, especially the Maitre 'd - his name escapes me... The fish was wonderful and the atmosphere delightful.

The food was very good and the service excellent. It is however quite pricy and they do have a parking problem as the place is often very busy.

Down to earth fish at its best! Special dish for our evening was a trio of wahoo, red tailed snapper and black grouper each presented with its own different preparations or finishes. Alternatively six different fresh local fish were available with four different preparations plus the basic sauté, blackened or broiled so in all fish available 40 different ways! Unbeatable!... This smaller restaurant does not have a waterside view. But everything else about it was better than any other restaurant we visited in our five dinners in Islamorada. The food was all very good to excellent. I enjoyed the hogfish (a type of snapper) prepared simply sautéed. My wife had some other fish prepared with a caper sauce, which she... More
