A young man handed me a BOGO card. Being a long day and not wanting to cook, I picked up my wife from work and headed straight over. Conch and shrimp fritters were very good. My wife had Mahi mahi and I had honey jalapeño snapper. Both entrees had plenty of fish, veggies and rice. All very good... read more

The ceviche apetizer was excellent, very good taste! Our entree's were good as well. My grandma got the taco's she enjoyed and I got the lobster salad. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. I would recommend to anybody!

Waitress was nice, food was not so good. View of the water is nice but the food tastes like frozen reheated stuff.

We stopped by this place just because it was tucked away from everything else. It was actually quite nice. Not the most elegant place - and seating wasn't great (table leaned - and chairs weren't exactly comfortable), but we were quite pleased. We had fish tacos - and they were delicious! Then had to try the Key Lime pie -... More

My husband and I stop here every so often for a drink on our way down south. We have never eaten there and for the first time looked at a menu on our last visit. When you charge $25 for an entree, $12 - $18 for appetizers. If you are going to be this type of place in the keys... More

I spend half of my time in Ohio, and the other half on Plantation Key. We had been hearing radio buzz about the ramped up "new" Smugglers Cove...so another friend who lives near me, suggested we dine there. I will give it this...the new owner has put a lot of money into the look...The problem? The staff. We sat at... More

Surprisingly good fish food and excellent service. The location is perfect being at the water in the shade of the noisy road. Worth to stop over.

Lousy service, dry $15 fish sandwich. Last year Smuggler's was a must do, this year a must avoid. The place was empty and it still took the server 5 minutes to get to us. She dropped off the menus and then disappeared for another 5 minutes. The fish sandwich I'd had in 2014 was comparable to Craig's but this year... More

I was looking forward to a good lunch when my husband and I went to this restaurant shortly after they re-opened. The place looks nicer especially the outdoor patio, however, the menu was extremely limited and the service was horrible. I opted for the burger when I saw the menu choices because I figured they couldn't mess up a burger.... More

Went to the Smuggler's Cove Restaurant our last night in Islamorada with a promotion card from our resort. Got a free entree with another entree of equal or lesser value. BOGO happy hour beer and wine. Had my favorite brand of wine at very reasonable prices! Food was excellent. Staff and service was great. I tried the conch chowder and... More
